I bought this fan because I overheat at night, but the highest setting seems like the lowest. It’s quiet, though. So I would only recommend if you like white noise or need a little breeze.

I use these in winter to drive the hot air off the cieling and back around the room. They are quiet comapred to other options, though they tend to put out more low frequency sound and less high frequency hiss that other fans do, so depends on your personal sensitivity. They are durable, I have one that has lasted for years of continuous daily use. I do not really reccomend them for those who need a big blast of air to cool themselves. They do have wall mount slots, but they are hidden under the base and require handyman skills to wall mount.

I was so disappointed with how loud it is despite being on the lowest setting. While it is a very powerful fan, if you're using it to cool you off while you sleep this isn't for you.

Rattling noise after a while

It works great in the beginning until it starts rattling. I’ve had two of these fans and both developed the same issue. It is also difficult to clean. I watched some YouTube videos to fix the rattling, cleaned and lubricated the fan but alas no fix.

I have 2 of these. One stopped working after a few years (looks like the back wires are fired). The new one did the same thing as the old one b4 breaking... The blades eventually started hitting the sides causing it to make a rattling sound.
