Because I have that, I want to be sure that the half-and-half I am drinking is free of any additives and organic. It is perfect to add to my coffee.

This is my 3rd attempt at using Horizon Organic Half & Half and my last. I drink a lot of coffee with half and half. It is an indulgence I cannot let go … I love it. But every time I’ve tried this half and half, I taste fish. I assumed the first time or two it was the result of the grocer not refrigerating the product correctly. But to have 3 purchased with this experience tells me it’s not the grocer. It’s the product. What an inconvenience to have to run out for a different brand while attempting to enjoy my coffee on a lazy Saturday morning. And what an expensive mistake. I have two expensive quarts to dump down the drain.

The flavor matches conventional half & half products, it is creamy and smooth and enhances hot and cold bevvies, smoothies and protein shakes. I am waiting for Horizon Organic to sell a grass-fed organic half & half, which is why this our back-up half & half for when the stores are out of the other organic brand's grass-fed one.

I have bought and enjoyed your Half and Half creamer for many years and for the most part, I have been happy with the purchase, with one exception. In order to open the white cap, I had to bend down the top of the carton to give me more room to twist it open, until recently that is. The last two cartons that I bought - the cap sat higher which made it so much easier for me to open. THANK YOU!!!

I just threw out my second quart in two weeks. After using about a fourth it is spoiled. I chalked the first one up to bad luck, but when the second one did the same thing, it will be my last. It’s too expensive to use a fourth and then throw it away. Especially when the use by date is March.

Our regular milk says it has 9 grams of fat or 11% in all while Horizon Half and Half has 3 grams of fat or 4%. An internet search revealed that half and half is supposed to be half milk and half cream. So, what gives? How can it have less fat than regular milk?

Hi Francis, great question! Our Half & Half indeed does contain Organic Grade A Milk and Organic Grade A Cream. It also has a total of 14% in all fat per 2 tbsp.
