Description
Inside the barrel drum of the Hot Wheels Color Reveal 2-Pack are two 1:64 scale Hot Wheels cars covered in special Color Reveal coating. For the initial reveal, fill the drum with water and swirl each car in it until the water changes color, then pull the car out to reveal its sweet deco. To change its appearance again, fill the drum with icy cold water and dunk it in for yet another awesome transformation! Change it back by dunking it in very warm water. Alternate between icy cold or very warm water to repeat the color shift. The barrel drum doubles as a Hot Wheels dunk tank, and it's also perfect for storage! Each two-pack is sold separately, subject to availability. Styles, colors and decorations may vary.

A: As far as I can tell there are 10 different cars available for 2022. There were 24 different cars in 2021 (2 different sets of 12 cars were released). It seems like the 2 cars you get are random.

False Advertisment on Video
The video shows color changing cars along with the color reveal without specifying they are two different products. False advertisement 100%. These are only color revealing and I question how toxic the paint is .. it’s a strong smell and the texture is slimy. It stains clothes as well.

Dunk the Hot Wheels car into icy cold water to reveal yet another deco and then change it back with hot water. Repeat this process to alternate between the 2 looks over and over again.

After that it was easy for my kids to switch the colors back and forth. Much easier with warm water and ice cold water, safer for the kids than hotter water. My Kid Loves the Color Reveal Magic

After that, the car changes colors based on if it's been put in hot water or cold water. Color Reveal Fun
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received these color reveal cars. We have had them in the past and enjoy that they’re the metal cars. They fit well with our other sets and are a lot of fun. Would have given higher stars but the colors we received were yellow and orange but kind of just go to a brown color when they’re room temperature. Which. Is fine but just not as fun as our other cars.

Cool color changing cars

When we opened the package, they were painted all blue, but once you dunk them in water, the blue paint washes away to reveal the car you received. It seemed the warm water was easier to get the paint off. Make sure you have a towel though as the water will turn blue and may stain if spilled. My son then loved playing with warm and cold water to change the cars colors. Highly recommend!

Fun and durable

The hot is basically the standard room temperature color. The cold was fun for him because he would put 1 car in the freezer & 1 in the water to see which changed faster. They are also super durable. Melting color card
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hot wheels are always a good gift/toy for a child. These add an extra level of play for the melting colors but it comes with it challenges. The melting color gets on everything and can stain. It also takes time for the melting color to fully removed from the car. I definitely recommend this for six year olds and up.

Great vehicles buy mystery protection overdone!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 2 pack of Color Shifters Color Reveal cars is a great addition to my child's Color Shifter car wash playset. Great vehicles and bright colors. He enjoys these type of vehicles immensely. Only thing against it is the charcoal mystery coating over the actual vehicles. It is meant to hide the color of the vehicle. You must rinse this off first and it is a bit slimy and not something you would want your child to do on the carpet or near any fabrics. The mystery was in the sealed package, then inside little plastic bags that were clear. Maybe just use black bags instead?

Fun, but messy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cars change color with temperature and that part is really cool. You are supposed to use ice water or warm water to change them but my son just liked throwing the cars in the fridge. haha. It's super fun and they stay changed in color for a while and they had hidden designs in the color change too so that is super fun. The only problem is that they come painted and you have to dunk them in water to "Reveal" the car". That's fun but the paint gets in all the knooks and crannies of the car and is so hard to get out. I end up having to scrub them in the sink cause I don't want the paint coming off on the carpet while he's playing. This is a one time problem though and he did enjoy watching them "Reveal" the first time. Just not as fun for me.
