Hot Wheels Racing Formula 1 Grid Start Track Set and 2 Die-Cast F1 Cars in 1:64 Scale

This is a great set because the launcher uses actual springs instead of rubber bands and the buttons are easy to push and the rubber brush pad on the push piece is better for the cars. The tower lights count down the start, lifts the gates and makes an engine noise. The finish line flag works well too and does not operate with rubber bands. When set up as instructed the vehicles get to the finish line very quickly. I added 4 straight speed snap pieces (4 feet) to each lane which I purchased at Target on sale and with the adaptors included older straight track after the finish line to catch the cars and still had plenty of speed for the race. I raced the Formula 1 cars, HW mainline cars, and HW MarioKart, and HW Racerverse cars and they all worked great and I could still lengthen the straight tracks and the cars would go the distance. This a fantastic addition to my track collection for straight racing. It is a good value for the money because of the launcher, tower, and finish line alone. You would need 2 more adaptors in addition to the 2 included with set if you want to extend the track between the start and finish with the older straight track. Very happy with this purchase. This could used for a great party game for kids or adults - bring your own cars to race and have a tournament.
