HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL IS ONE OF THE ONLY REMAKES IN THE LAST 16 YEARS THAT I LIKE. WHEN THIS FIL WAS RELEASED BACK IN 1999 TO THEATRES I MUST OF WENT EVERY SATURDAY FOR A MONTH!! THE FILM STARS GEOFFREY RUSH ( AN AMAZING SIMILARITY TO VINCENT PRICE) AS A THEME PARK OWNER STEVEN PRICE WHO HAS A VERY TWISTED SENSE OF HUMOR. HE DECIDES TO HOLD A BIRTHDAY PARTY FOR HIS WIFE ( PLAYED BY FAMKE JANSSEN) AT AN OLD ABANONED INSANE ASYLUM. HE INVITES FIVE PEOPLE ( NON OF WHO ACTUALLY SHOW UP BECAUSE THE INVITES GET DESTROYED) INSTEAD FIVE OTHER COMPLETE STRANGERS SHOW UP PLAYED BY TAYE DIGGS, ALI LARTER,BRIDGETTE WILSON, AND PETER GALLAGHER. HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL IS AN AMAZING REMAKE THAT YOU HAVE TO SEE TO BELEIVE!!!.
