Description

Book Synopsis

ENGLISH DESCRIPTION

A picture book designed to help young children learn to express themselves when they don't feel comfortable and set boundaries--the foundation for preventing the seeds of bullying.

Lucas, the new kid at school, loves dinosaurs. Max, the biggest kid at school, doesn't--and he makes sure to laugh at Lucas every day so that everyone knows it. Fortunately, Lucas has a group of friends who teach him how to say "enough is enough," how to seek help from adults, and set boundaries that will help him feel safe.

Because if we all learn to say, "I don't like that," nobody will be able to hurt us.

Alberto Soler's new book is aimed at families who believe that phrases like "kids will be kids" or "it's not a big deal" just don't cut it.

What will you find in this book?

  • A story that teaches children to express their discomfort, set boundaries, and understand other people's feelings.
  • Heartwarming, full-color illustrations by Nerea Vicente.
  • A diverse and friendly group of characters, just like those you'll find in any school.
  • A valuable tool for preventing bullying.
