The website shows a higher maximum retail price (MRP) than what is displayed on the packaging.
The website indicates a higher maximum retail price (MRP) than the price displayed on the packaging, which itself is lower than the printed MRP. Furthermore, the sound volume is considerably low and fails to meet expectations, necessitating the use of external speakers for online meetings. Additionally, the audio quality for music is unsatisfactory.

bad battery life
This computer was too expensive for how good it is. It's fine I guess, but it is not enough bang for the buck. The battery life is not as good as I was led to believe. Some days it doesn't even last 6 hours before it dies, and I got it less than 2 months ago.

Laptop came with faulty charger
I am happy with the laptop but it came with charger that did not work . You sent me laptop charger that did not work, at all .This is very unfair and not acceptable to me. I had to buy a charger myself for the laptop.

Rfurbished price but like new. Let down by warranty support
Purchased to replace an 8 year old hp convertible touchscren laptop, so far has performed flawlessly. Refurbished product had a minor scratch near the keyboard which as a Refurbished product was all fine with me. HOWEVER. the WARRANTY data is incorrect (APP shows only 11 month warranty)and I've been trying for over a month to get it corrected. I've contacted support by phone and via the app with no success getting the data corrected (open ticket, have sent followup emails, provided the invoice for purchase etc) DOESN'T give me any comfort about the HP's warranty support.

Two Thumbs Up
This is a great daily use computer. The size is perfect. I often sit in bed with my laptop and its not heavy or bulky. Perfect! The backlight is a must have if you ever use your computer after dark. There's nothing negative to say about the Pavilion. Transitioning to a new computer is seamless these days. Files transfer over with minimal effort so do personal settings.

Poor physical design.
The keyboard on this HP Pavilion is not designed properly. When one places one's fingers on the keys to type, one's right thumb, where it attaches to the person's hand, covers a large portion of the touchpad area. Because of this, the thumb is nearly constantly bumping the touchpad causing errors in typing. Also, this computer is kind of slow bringing up webpages, etc...

Nice laptop, runs too hot
Construction: This is a high quality laptop made of hard, stiff plastic with little body or deck flex. It has high quality white keyboard backlighting and a large but not abnormally-sized touchpad. The screen is made from glass, and the device has silicone feet anywhere it may be placed down. The hinges are made of aluminum with plastic pieces in them. I am somewhat concerned about their longevity given past x360 models. Software: Most of the HP software is unnecessary and I uninstalled it. The fan is not user-controllable, which is unfortunate because the stock fan curve is awful and the fan doesn't ramp up sometimes even as the machine is actively thermal throttling. IO: Adequate. The USB ports are too close together and the user cannot connect 2 USB drives at once without using thin drives or an extension cable. The USB C port with bidirectional charging is a good feature, but it should be on the same side as the regular charging port. Alternatively, remove the regular port altogether and use only USB C. Keyboard and Touch: The keyboard is good with good backlighting. The row of function keys on the right is annoying and I often press HOME or END or something trying to backspace. Putting power buttons on the keyboard is stupid, but this laptop does it anyways. The trackpad is very good, no notes. The touchscreen is solid enough to do basic digital art on but fails to do some extremely fine tasks sometimes. The fingerprint scanner is solid, but often takes multiple attempts. Performance: This laptop struggles doing anything more than watching YouTube, but that's all most people need. Windows feels snappy and responsive, and programs like Word run with no lag to speak of. The CPU runs way too hot, however, and often thermal throttles and slows the entire system to a crawl during video calls. The battery is good, charges fast, and lasts an average amount of time - about what I would expect from an Intel x64 laptop. Overall: This is a very solid daily machine that can slip easily into a bag and be quickly flipped open at any library, coffee shop, or bedroom. The integrated pen is good for notes. The laptop should not be used for any intensive tasks, however, because it runs hot enough to throttle the CPU, damaging performance and potentially causing small amounts of long term damage to the device.
