Overall, good laptop, however HDR does not work as HP has no display driver. Also, other small issues like waking laptop when in tablet mode.
20+ year HP business customer - Disappointing, poor design, missing high end finishes and feel.

The current generation Spectre x360 2-in-1 laptop is extremely underwhelming in design compared to previous models (ie. Spectre 15t-eb0000 circa 2020). Sad, very sad. I love my current model, but its aging and this one doesn't look much like of an upgrade, so I'll have to stick with it for a while more. Upon unboxing the new one, I was so unimpressed that I returned it right away. Who designed this thing? The Spectre line is supposed to be HP's premium hardware lineup for professionals, but it looks very subdued and understated, and not in a good way. HP also left out the leather sleeve that came with the last model on this one. Lame move for "premium" if you ask me, which you did. This laptop does not look or feel high end or premium in any way. The design reminds me of something from the 90's. I can't find a reason why anyone would need such an oversized touch pad and subsequent lower body to suit. What a waste of space. Maybe you could have found room to store the pen in there instead of sticking it to the side with a magnet. Additionally, I simply cannot understand why anyone would trade a number pad for speakers along the left and right sides. The placement is just horrible. Please go back to the 2020 design, it was such a sharp, good-looking laptop with a solid quality feel that this current gen is severely lacking.

This machine is simply not quite as fast as it's specs might indicate. I was really hoping for faster without going to a full 'gaming' machine, for various photo/graphics/3D projects (not gaming). That's the disappointing part, the irritating part is the trackpad; oversize (leads to accidental random clicks) and overly sensitive without a real, noticeable effect on sensitivity using Settings/Devices/touchpad/touchpad sensitivity. Drivers have been uninstalled/reinstalled, cured an initial failure with palm detection but not overall sensitivity. The humongous, oversize pad I thought would be a plus, but it makes simply typing harder with random clicks. Otherwise, great touch screen, nice having the extra landscape after a decade on 14" machines. Sound also superior.

HP This is my second HP Spectre 2-in-1. This one exceeds my expectations in terms of ease to setup, and is much faster with improved graphics, better battery capacity, and it comes with four times the hard drive space (2TB) than what I had before so I am no longer constrained with loading applications and files. I purchased a separate Bluetooth full size keyboard and mouse as I do a lot of engineering calculations so I need to numeric keypad. It was extremely easy to pair these. The touchpad is large which can interfere when typing with the built in keyboard so the external one also helps with this. I do not use the elaborate graphics editing capability it has with the included pen, but I am sure it would be useful for a graphics designer. Overall, I am please with the product.

This is the third Spectre I've owned, so obviously I like them. This one is another solid member in the line. Literally solid! It has nice build quality and seems like it will hold up like the others did. Performance-wise it's fine. It's not going to break any records, but it has plenty of power. My main disappointment is that they took away the numeric keypad and the physical camera on/off switch. I assume the keypad was removed to make room for the bigger speakers, but don’t think that was a great trade off. And I assume the camera switch was just a money saver. That's my other issue, this is a fairly pricey machine. But overall, I'm happy with it.

I really enjoy this computer for remote business applications, primarily using Office 365. I would have given a rating a 5 but it runs extremely slow with Adobe Lightroom, to the extent it is far too frustrating to edit the simplest of photos. I had even upgraded the graphics card.

Great machine but as usual the webcam stopped working 24 hours later, as it did with my last 2 spectre's. Tired of the back and forth to get it fixed so I just bought a webcam to use instead

After 5 years of owning a Spectre laptop, it was time for an upgrade. The old unit was still functioning fine and never had a breakdown, but I needed increased processing power and more RAM. After evaluating available offerings, I realized that the reliablity of the old unit guided me to buying another Spectre. I chose this model for its processing power and the 32GB of RAM. My older unit had both Intel and NVIDIA graphics, but since I never used the NVIDIA, I was alright with the capabilities of this model. This unit has a limited number of USB ports, so if you use many external device, you will need to purchase a separate docking unit. If you like to connect to Ethernet at your desktop, a multi-functional docking unit with Ethernet becomes essential. I have had success attaching such a unit through the USB-C ports. The placement of the Power button is a considerable improvement over the earlier models, because it is now visible (on the keyboard) and large enough for large finger tips.
The Keyboard is the worst of all Spectre x360 models so far

The keyboard design is worse than previous models: 1. It is great that at last there is an FN lock. But activating it with the Shift is a bad idea. Since Home/End/PgUp/PgDown are activated with FN it creates a situation that you need both FN and Shift to select text and then it forces you to think of the order of the buttons. i.e. to press Shift first and then FN in order to select text, cause if you do FN and then Shift it will just toggle the FN-Lock. Very annoying 2. Anyone that writes a lot of text (Word documents) is in high use of Home and End keys. Removing those keys to be activated only with Fn is a big drawback. 3. Move the speakers next to the mouse pad and add back the numeric pad.

I love this laptop! It was purchased for me at work and the multifunctional aspects work like a dream. The OLED screen is beautiful and I love that it is a 2-in-1. It's perfect for when I take to meetings to take notes but also works well when I need to make digital graphics. I recommend anyone get this laptop!

If you have owned a Spectre in the past, just beware as this one does not come with a card slot or a pen.
