Architectural Designer
A extremely disappointing purchase. A total lost of my money tower not working, no sound and limited sources of connection. I have waist several weeks not been able to properly use the tower, every time i request help with copilot i read and fallow the instructions, I get referred to your repair agents for a charge. I will never refer this product!!!

Great workstation.
I am very pleased with The Z2 Tower G9 Workstation. It replaced a 10 year-old HP Z440. It set up well except for trying to keep Microsoft OneDrive out of the picture. Just a week old and HP Performance Advisor stopped working. Talking on the phone with HP support came down to messing with the registry or doing a clean install of Windows 11. Another problem came up and I wound up doing a clean install (twice) to get things working right. That is a Microsoft issue, NOT HP. I have since increased the RAM to 64G and added an expansion card to provide a couple more USB 3.1 ports. I am very pleased with the quality and performance of this workstation.

Include better Instructions
Once the device was set up it was fine; however, getting to that point was the issue. Because there were vague or very few instructions regarding what cables to use and instructions about the "display port" connections the difficulty was in what exactly did I need to use to change from my old devices to the new, i.e., the monitor. I feel there should be far more instructions included in the box than you had and also there should have been a choice of cables and cable connections included. I found it absolutely ridiculous to have to call HP three different times for technical help. Overall, once the system was up and running, I am thoroughly satisfied, and I am also glad that I got the Wolf Pro Security package which was a great addition compared to other antivirus software.

Not a simple setup
This unit has a place for a slim 9.5 mm internal DVD drive. Finding one that fits is a problem. I have had problems with saving File History and Backing up. Had to do a complete Restore to get working again. Getting errors on both File History and Backup on all drives tried. Unit was received a day after a new Bios was upgraded. Went to HP site and downloaded about two dozen updates, including BIOS. Windows 11 is not an improvement. Taking a screenshot is a multi-step process. The Control Panel has to have a Shortcut made on the Desktop, as it is no longer available from the Settings wheel on the Start Menu.

HP has the reputation that is very trusted. My last Tower lasted 17 years, so I didn't think twice about purchasing this one. The only thing that I'm not overly interested in was Wolf protection. I have a lifetime protection program that I prefer to use. So I didn't download Wolf!

I ended up buying two the first one kept freezing and was using a lot of RAM so I returned that one. The second one I got seems to be OK runs decent speeds 32 gigs of RAM no freezing seems to be average. OK computer I wish the mouse and keyboard were beefier

Solid choice
It replaces a Windows 10 PC that had started to have issues. The PC is virtually noiseless and the processor and graphics card temperatures are far cooler than temps on the replaced computer. Windows 11 and copilot perform well. The.Wolf security software package is NOT cumbersome and doesn’t interrupt what I am doing. All programs and files ported easily.

Awful
The worst computer I have ever had. I had to push the start button 4 or 5 times before it would bootup. It took twice as long as my seven year old computer to bootup. It was terribly slow to pull up programs. Sometimes it quit in the middle of something. I only kept 2 days and sent it back.

Very fast, easy set up
Wanted a higher-powered tower for my business, as I noticed my old tower was working slow, especially when running Outlook. Had no issues setting up this tower, it was a quick process. Outlook is now very fast and responsive. I did not realize that the tower did not come with a DVD drive, but I imagine if I ever need to use a DVD, I can buy a cheap DVD drive that connects via USB.

Amazing Workstation!
Purchased this workstation on sale. Great bargain. Blazing fast! Incredible graphics card! Easily expandible! What more could you want. Came with 32 GB of memory, I expanded it to 128 GB. I have added two 8 TB M.2 SSD hard drives and one 2.5" 16 TB SSD to create a monster. Using mainly for video work. (Magix Vegas) Couldn't be happier with this machine! PS, HP's Workstation phone support is one of a kind. They have gone above and beyond to help me with any and all of my questions. Thanks again!
