[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I mounted this Hunter Nolita 6 Light chandelier above my dining table, and it looks great! The fixture was easy to install. 1st you need to figure out the height you want to set this chandelier. I set this new fixture to about the same height as the old fixture which was around 42 inches from the ceiling. The chandelier came with 4 12-inch down rods and 1 6-inch down rod which allow a maximum height of 75 inches from the ceiling to the bottom of the fixture. Please NOTE, you must use at least 1 down rod in order to mount this fixture. For me to get this to close to the height of my old fixture, I needed to use the 6-inch down rod and 1 of the 12-inch down rod. I loop the wires from the main fixture through the down rods and left about a foot of additional wires and then I cut off the excess. I then twisted all the rods in place and connected it the mount that I previously attached to the ceiling gang box. Anyone can mount this fixture as long as do so safely by turning off the power at the breaker. The wiring was simple. Just 3 wires (black to black, white to white, and green to the bare copper ground wire). Once the wire is secure, slide the canopy cover up and lock it in place with the loop ring. Since the fixture uses 6 bulbs, we got 60-watt dimmable LED bulbs which is bright for its current location . Luckily, the fixture is wired up to a wall dimmer. We’re able to dim down the brightness as needed. Overall, this Nolita chandelier is sleek and modern. It would be an excellent choice and a statement piece for any home.

I love the Alturas Gold color because it shines so bright and makes this chandelier stand out. There are six glass shades that are frosted white for each light bulb assembly. You can use a 60 W bulb or lower with this light bulb assembly. A 40 W bulb was sufficient for me and added plenty of light. There are four 12-inch rods and one 6-inch rod included. You have to use at least on downrod. With the required downrod, the hanging length is 27.75 inches. If you use all of the included downrods, the maximum hanging length is 75.75 inches. Measure the length you want it at so you know how many you need. The instructions are basic so if you don't have experience with lighting you might need help. We are quite experienced so my husband and I could figure it out quickly without any issues. You do need a screwdriver, wire strippers, pliers, ladder. We use electrical tape to seal around the wire nut for extra protection. You can use this chandelier in your kitchen, bedrooms, living room, dining room, or entryway to add a eye catching look to the area. It is very well made and I would definitely recommend it.

My Husband installed it and it made our Dining area more modernize. We both love the contemporary style, the look is so modernize with the gold like color. It is perfect! I am blown away with it’s beauty!
