It fits perfectly in my bag for traveling, and I have not experienced any leakage or spillage! Just make sure you hear a click when closing it to make sure the straw is completely down and locked. It's also perfect for work because the 40oz is sometimes a hassle to carry around. Because this is easy to bring around, I find myself more hydrated with this size of a water bottle.

I love this new design. Doesn’t leak when closed. Can turn any which way. My only complaint is that when you flip open the straw, it has to be all the way flipped open to be able to drink. This is no issue except that when you touch your mouth to it, it starts to close. You need to hold the straw with your hand while drinking. Is this just a flaw in the new design?
