About the Book

I Am ... an ABC Book is an interactive, educational, personal development journal (without them knowing it's any of that!) for all ages. As the reader is guided through the alphabet, they can identify their best characteristics, increase vocabulary, stimulate a positive mindset, and manifest traits they want in their life. For each letter of the alphabet there 5 lines where they can write directly in the book. It's a book that grows with your child and is to be revisited as they identify more and more traits that make them special, and become their best selves.

I Am ... an ABC Book is an interactive, educational, personal development journal for all ages.It's a book that grows with your child at every stage, from birth through preteen. As you are guided through the alphabet, you can identify your best characteristics, increase vocabulary, stimulate a positive mindset, and manifest traits you want in your life.

It's not a typical I Am book. Guided by the alphabet, the reader is encouraged to identify their best characteristics. Each page offers a tiny message for the reader from Hausler. While writing the book, Hausler thought, maybe the reader would like to add more words that represent themselves, so she decided to add lines where the reader to write their own words to best describe themselves. This increases vocabulary, stimulates a positive mindset, and helps manifest traits they want in their life.

For example, A... I am ...Awesome, the reader could then use the lines to write their own I Am statements- Artistic, Athletic, Adventurous, etc. It's a book to revisit over and over again as new words come to mind.

Use as daily affirmations to improve your children's confidence and add new words to the pages as you reread the book. Create positive brain pathways as you read, 'I Am' statements created by you. You can write directly in the book on the lines provided with for each letter of the alphabet. This book reinforces the alphabet along with many personal development benefits.

About the Author

"I Am . . . an ABC Book" is Hausler's debut children's book. As a retired teacher, Hausler loves to inspire children to be their best. Her approach to teaching is guided discovery. She loves for children to have that a-ha! moment! Things stick better in the brain that way, and by writing their answers in the book, it solidifies the impact of their words even more.

Growing up, she was influenced by her mother who was an early elementary reading teacher and director of a pre-school. Sari loved to play games, and still does. Games with numbers, letters, dice and cards. Her favorite tv shows were Sesame Street, The Electric Company, and Mr. Rogers. As Hausler initially wrote the book, she thought she'd make a game out of it, to see if she could find a word for each letter of the alphabet. Then she thought why should her words have to be yours, so she added lines in the book for the reader to write their own words to best identify their best characteristics.

Sari currently resides in the suburbs of Philadelphia with her family, and 2 dogs. Courtney lives in Milstadt, Illinois and manages a pediatric practice at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. In her free time, Courtney enjoys graphic design, drawing, her 2 dogs, and spending time with her family.
