Description

ICU Eyewear’s Screen Vision is a powerful blue light filtering eyeglass with no magnification. By using coated lensing to filter harmful blue light emitted by mobile and fixed screens, Screen Vision reduces digital eye strain. Artificial blue light filtration can help with more than just eye strain however; Screen Vision helps guard against long term age-related eye conditions such as muscular degeneration and cataracts. Artificial blue light is also a contributing factor to the suppression of melatonin release, a major factor in sleep disruption. Screen Vision features additional 100% UVA/UVB protection. Lightweight, with a fashion forward style, ICU Screen Vision Black Rectangle is a positive step toward long-term eye and mental health. The Screen Vision Black Rectangle has a width of 140mm with a temple length of 147mm.

My doctor recommended that I buy a pair of blue light glasses due to shift workers sleep disorder. (20 years of 3rd shift hotel/hospitality) I went with the ICU glasses as my intro pair. At first I thought I wasted my money, but I kept them on as recommended. After about three hours I lifted my glasses up to look at my computer and I could immediately see the "blue light" that was being blocked. My eyes had adjusted to the glasses the way your eyes adjust to seeing in low light. Now I wear them religiously in the latter half of my shift before going home. Definitely makes a difference in helping me sleep. I'm still going to invest in another pair, but in my experience these make a great first pair for anyone who needs to have them.

Blocking flickers

I was trying to give the glasses a 5, perfect for me. I am so grateful you had them. I had cataract surgery and I see perfect but I gather too much light and sometimes I see flickers. With these glasses, they are gone. Some look younger with glasses, I am one of them. I don't need prescription glasses, so for me, these glasses were an answer to prayer in two ways. I am grateful you had them, thanks.

It’s Helped Me

Personally this pair definitely benefits my eyes. I stare at a screen at work, then at home because me & my fiancé are currently apart due to work & then the tv to wind down for bed. I started feeling a major strain on my eyes from all of this screen time & constantly battling headaches, fatigue & insomnia. The minute I bought this and used it it with my phone I felt immediate relief to my eyes. My fiancés sister couldn’t feel it but she has good vision and her step daughter couldn’t feel it because she doesn’t get too much screen time. I was reading the other reviews and I don’t believe this to have magnifying properties; I have slight blurriness even with my contacts in and my vision doesn’t change in the slightest when using this. It does help with refracting blue lights because while using it in the car at night it was picking up the blue hues from other headlights. In summary I was majorly affected by screens and this has helped me. $20 is not at all that bad for this.

Love them. Wear these more than my overly priced prescription pair. Improves my quality of vision when stearing at a computer screen all day

Adjusting to staring at a computer screen was taking a toll on my eyes. These are my "dork glasses"... and they work! This is an affordable solution and i am thinking about purchasing a second pair just to have an extra.

Got them since they were on sale. They definitely do *something* to block blue light, but not a lot. Don't work with the online blue-light blocking tests online so idk. Fit well and pretty good quality.

Description said they aren't magnified but they are quite a bit. Made me dizzy when I took them off. Returned. Very masculine, as well. Not cute on a woman IMO
