About the Author



Herb Schlossberg (1935-2019) was a historian and served as a senior analyst in the Central Intelligence Agency. The author of several books, he lived with his wife in Alexandria, Virginia, and has three grown children and nine grandchildren.

Charles "Chuck" Wendell Colson (1931-2012) was an Evangelical Christian leader who founded Prison Fellowship and BreakPoint. Prior to his conversion to Christianity, he served as Special Counsel to President Richard Nixon from 1969 to 1973.
