I got this book for my school library and read it this week to several classes. They oohed and aahed with me over the creative collage art. We had great discussions about what/who we wish we could be sometimes and about appreciating who we are. We dug a little deeper and looked up information about the difference between stick bugs and preying mantis. There are great co-curricular opportunities in this book as well as just opportunities for beautiful connections for a read aloud. I would read this to my TK-6th grade, but the sweet spot is probably for the younger half. I'll update my review if I read it to the upper elementary
