Works really well
My decade old Conair finally died on me just as I was finishing up my hair earlier. Went to my local store and picked this one up. Had to wash my hair once more so I got to use it. My hair is shoulder length right now so it worked wonderfully. It gets my hair quite hot when I ran my hands through to ensure all was getting done. It dried my head up really quickly and I am loving how my normally 3B hair is being tamed by this dryer brush. I will say that the handle is quite thick and took a little to get accustomed to the girth, my previous one's handle was 1/3 thinner.

expect black specs everywhere
I RARELY ever leave reviews but stay away! I am pretty sure these flakes have ended up in my eye. Whenever I used this I ended up with black specs everywhere. At first I had no idea where they were coming from. But looking at the reviews I am not the only one! I am in the market for a new one because of this. Safe to say I am staying away from Conair this time!

Listen. I have very long curly hair and have never known how to give myself a blowout. I can’t use round brushes, and do not have the arm strength or patience for it. This tool literally changed my life. I split my hair into 2 sections, apply heat protectant, remove the brush attachment and rough dry my hair ‘til it’s about 85% dry. Then I just go to town with the brush attachment — it literally couldn’t be easier. I don’t worry about which direction I’m curling, because it always comes out looking nice, smooth, and professional in 20 minutes. I get so many compliments after blowing my hair out with this bad boy. If you are like me and do not have the time or wisdom (or money) for a traditional blowout, try this dryer.

I loved it but...
Here’s the thing: it worked wonderfully for me and I have no complaints on how it did my hair. However, after years of use, the interchangeable head constantly falls off while I’m doing my hair and lands on my feet, so just be aware of that when purchasing!

Best dryer for the value
I am not a fan of hot tools and I don’t like to use them. But when I tried the Revlon Dryer hair brush and the Conair Knot Dr Dryer Hair Brush there is much difference. The Revlon makes much sound and the hair becomes dry whereas with Conair the hair remains smoother, very less frizz for a week and I really liked it and continue to use it. And I like the detachable dryer that is convenient to use.

Terrible
I have super thick, curly hair and this did not work for me. It does not get hot enough and it’s super harsh on pulling your hair. It feels very cheap. Definitely returning it and getting another Revlon one step.

Love it so far!
I’ve seen mixed reviews on this thing.. some have melted, and others say that the black paint on the handle flakes. I’ve had it for about a month now and I haven’t had any issues (so far at least). Seems like time will tell. I only use the low heat option and it works great!! So much faster than my blow dryer and it heats my hair way more even, compared. I don’t like the huge handle but I’ve honestly gotten used to it and it’s not so bad.

Worked for my insanely frizzy hair
I have the frizzy hair on the planet. And this thing (with of course products I put on my hair to help) made my hair just as smooth as I get with my hair dryer. I do think it’s easier if you air dry your hair as much as possible. It takes way too long going over and over it again when it’s wet. Knocking one star off because it came with no instructions or warranty, no paper in the box, so that makes me wonder was it returned? Also I wish the knob at the top was a bit longer to make it easier to hold when twisting the device.

Flakey!
This tool is amazing BUT the black handle flakes. The little flakes stick to anything and everything. Also, the comb head becomes lose and never fits snug again. Other than that, it does it’s job! I used this and my Moms Dyson and prefer this over Dyson’s results. Hope they can get these two things fixed soon!
