A: It works okay. It COULD be stronger - but it works well to start! Most of the pool kits do not come with strong pumps.

A: FYI the Intex instruction manual states that it can be left outside for the winter. Intex should update the instruction manual that comes with this product if that recommendation has changed.

We have this pool one year, we just set up, this week and the brownies materials started to peel creating holes. Our pools have lasted 3 to 4 seasons, this is dissapointed, i have to patch 4 to 5 holes after we filled up. Dissapointed.

Have to upgrade the pump, but we knew that. This is our second intex pool and none of the cartridge pumps work well. We upgraded to a sand pump and it's stays sparkling clean. We are on the second season and no leaks or damage. It was a standard setup, bur to level we used sand. Which is what we had. I don't suggest it, try to level it on compacted soil. 14x42 is the perfect height for kids and adults, and the height keeps you engaged with everyone outside of the pool. Our old one was too deep, and you couldn't see over the rails if sitting on patio.

Previous pool lasted 3 years limited leaking, it was also an Intex pool. This pool began leaking within the same year of purchase, has multiple leaks in seam. Would'nt recommend.

The pool itself is nice and we like the look however the pump is not adequate. It is not moving water fast enough or pushing it to circulate around the entire pool. It’s really barely doing anything. Currently replacing with a sand pump.

It sprung a leak on a seam barely a month into using it. It was fun before that though! So, good if you need a pool for a weekend. Not good if you want it to last a summer.

The reviews for this pool scared me, but it’s been up for about a month now with no issues. The pool is surprisingly sturdy, and the clear strip is cute! The filter is definitely underpowered for the size of the pool, and the ladder is very cheap… but what can we expect at this price? Overall very satisfied.
