Q: How long is the electrical cord for the sand filter pump?

A: Looks like I get to answer my own question. Thankfully Intex did not short us as it comes with an electrical cord that is approximately 25 feet long which should give you plenty of options for the pump / filter placement. Unfortunately it does not have an end that simply plugs into the sand filter pump which means that you can’t bury the electrical cord in some type of electrical conduit because it has a rather large GFCI plug on the other end. Hope this helps others with the same question!

This pool has made our family’s summer AMAZING! I would purchase it 100x over. Not sure why it has a 3ish star rating, but we leveled the spot and did the setup accurately which was pretty easy, you’ll need 2 people, but very doable. We love it so much, it’s a member of the family now! We have swam almost every day this summer and had so much fun- perfect for our family with an infant, 3 and 6 year old, and a bunch of their friends and our family.

True to tale, got it up and there was a leak at the seal. The day after we bought it we saw online it was also almost $200 cheaper, and there’s a recall on them. Too much $ for this amount of work for this product just to fail. Not to mention the amount of water going into a FULL POOL that’s leaking.

Took the time to level the area, bought and put sand down to protect the area. After assembling the pool and filling it with about 4" to get the water level over the seams, I noticed water leaking from the tarp. Upon further inspection the water is right where the bottom of the pool seam is. There is water leaking in another area by the seam on the other side as well. I do not see any punctures in the liner. I had a previous Intex above ground pool and didn't have any problems with it. I read other reviews on this product and saw that others had this issue but preceded to purchase the pool due to my previous experience with an Intex pool. We had planned to have this pool ready for our 4th of July party and now have had to inform our guests that the pool is leaking and will not be ready. I am hopeful that Intex makes this right so that I do not regret this purchase.

Barely tried to install today. Paid someone to have it set with sand and some nice decorative stone around it. After standing the pol up and getting ready to fill it with water, we discovered it had a leak as the seam was not glued correctly on one side. Such a huge disappointment!!! My daughter can’t use it now and all that money to install and make it look nice for nothing! Tried calling Intex and they are closed of course. They work same work hours as me M-F 8-5. So we will see what they will do to fix the issue or I may need to return this item!

Beautiful pool very sturdy. Very easy to put together I did it alone. The cover fits but needs two people to put on. The pump is also very easy to setup. This pool is $1300+ everywhere else, target has the greywood print and only charges half the price. Besides trying to set this up in 20 mph wind gusts, it set up relatively easily, probably took about 75 minutes..Four people would've been better than two! No leaks in the liner, pool seems sturdy so far, and good quality for the money. Self timer on the filter is really nice too until I can install a timer in my garage. (ladder is not the included ladder in the set, wanted something sturdier).

Love this pool but after all the work prep and excitement to fill it up for the first time, it is leaking from the seam. Extremely disappointing for how much we paid. The thought of packing it all up and returning is daunting.

Great pool! Set-up took me and 9yr old son an hour. I’m also using the Intex salt water system, and after 2 huge storms, the water is crystal clear. I only wish I had room for a larger one!

We bought this pool Memorial Day weekend and it has been up almost a month now. We added the Intex salt water system and skimmer. It has been great, no issues or leaks like other reviewers have reported. We would upgrade to the 18x52” next time just for more room to swim. The included ladder is terrible, we are planning to build a deck or else would replace with a sturdier ladder.

Sick to my stomach. Spent sooo much to upgrade to this bigger size for our daughterafter a really rough year and it's leaking out of the bottom before it's even done filling!! We've spent so much between having to rent a tractor to dig out the ground level, doing everything to set it up just perfect to have the merchandise fail us instantly!!! THIS IS NOT OK!!! This is people's hard earned money and time. I dont even know what im going to tell my daughter but after all we spent between the pool itself, the tracyor rental, sand delivery, and the water bill....there is no way we can buy another nor would we from this company ever again!!!! I expected more. 😭

We were so excited to upgrade to this pool as we have had an intex pool before that lasted 4 years. This pool disappointed, but Intex disappointed even more!!! We put the pool up and right away noticed leaking. The brand new liner right out of the box had a leak. I spent more than 4 hours 4 different times on the phone with Intex to consistantly get the run around and be told this pool was discontinued and Intex would not replace the liner with a similar liner in just a different color. Intex would not offer me any help or other options or a refund (becasue you can not return pools back to the original store). I can not explain how disappointed and frustrated I am that Intex has done absolutley nothing to help this unhappy mom. In fact, on my last call with Intex, the customer service representive hung up on me becasue I was pointing out the fact that INtex was not being helpful and that I was going to loose money and my kids would not have apool this summer as well as I pointed out that INtex was giving me a complete run around!!!! Unfortunely, our fmaily will not have a pool this summer becasue we can not afford a new pool and Intex will not make this right. I will never buy an Intex product again!!! DO NOT BY INTEX CUSTOMER WILL NOT HELP!!!

I bought this when it was on sale, and used my redcard for the extra 5% off. Served like a great deal. I choose this because it has a better for maintenance same filter, and the frame was better quality tubing. Set up was reasonably quick, there are a lot of videos and advice online. Pool has been up and running for about a month, we love it and it's easy to take care of. Make sure you level the ground underneath it well!
