Effective pool filter cartridge
This filter works better than smaller one I had before. I bought it for my 18' pool and it does good job. I run it a few hours daily and rinse it every other day. Each filter lasts a few weeks. Good purchase experience.

Did not filter all of the algae; most went past it
Literally watched as the algae I vacuumed up went into the pump and right back out into the pool. Useless.

Type A Cartridge Filter
While cleaning filter after first use, noticed cracking on both inner circular seals. Previous filter I used which came with replacement pump had no such issues. If the other two that came with my order are faulty as well, I will just buy after market filters going forward and consider a different pool company in the future.
