Q: Do you need a specific air pump to blow up the pool? Or do you only need an air pump for the ring?

We buy a new pool each year for the summer. We look for sales. We enjoy many hot days relaxing in the pool and on the deck. It is a great way to spend the afternoon in our retirement. 10x30 pool is just the right size for the husband to lounge on the floating!

Great idea and easy to set up.
I’m a 66 yr old grandma bought this for my husband and I and grandkids when they’re visiting. Purchased this last year. easy to set up easy to keep clean without a filter/pump. Got it out this summer to set up and the inflatable ring at the top has a leak in it and will not hold air. It leaks out almost as fast as it goes in. It’s along the seam. We had so much enjoyment late year was very disappointed by this. This is the second easy set pool that we’ve had and the same thing happened. The first pool 2 years ago didn’t make it through the summer, it got a hole somewhere and the air slowly leaked out. We just kept pumping air in it daily. People mentioned this as a problem in some reviews. Will try a metal frame pool next. One year and done is not acceptable to us.

Very easy to break the liner.
Have had to replace every year. Pin prick holes always sink this product. No matter how careful I am, no matter what precautions I use for bottom, it last one summer and then done. Some times it does not even last the summer. No kids, just my wife (60yrs) and my self (56) yrs old.

this is actually the second one of these i've bought, (the first one developed leaks and algae i couldnt get rid of. no fault to the product, i didnt care for it well) my 7 year old lives in this pool all summer. it's only about up to his waist so he can play all he wants without going under. not a great pool to learn to swim unless it's for really small kids, but fun to cool off and splash around. you will require a stronger pump than the one recommended.
