Designed for all 10, 12, 14, 15, and 16-foot Intex above-ground swimming pools. Also great for Sand-n-Sun, Aqua-Leisure and other pools with 1.25-inch diameter hose connections. The GFCI (ground fault circuit interrupter) feature on the 1000 GPH pump provides additional safety and protection. Your pump will shut off automatically if the electrical current is exposed to water. This Intex 1000 GPH Easy Set Pool Filter Pump keeps your pool crystal clean and all summer long so you can worry less and swim more. Keep your above ground pool water clean, soft, and refreshing with the Intex Krystal Clear Saltwater System. Next, the amount of natural chlorine generated by this saltwater system is greatly reduced, which results is clean water without the potential harsh side effects of packaged pool chemicals. The Intex Krystal Clear Saltwater System requires a filter pump with a flow rate between 700 3,000 GPH and is for use with a maximum pool size of 15,000 gallons.

I’ve had time to try it out in our new pool and it works great. We have a 13,000 gallon pool and this is more than sufficient for it.

It makes your skin feel amazing. So much easier than chlorine! My daughter always has itchy burning eyes with chlorine, we hate the smell and the way it makes our skin feel. This eliminates ALL of those issues!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately it is wintertime in the rocky mountains so I can’t test this right now, but it looks super efficient and worth the price tag. It was shipped in a sturdy box with lots of supporting materials. The tubing and plastic is durable and well made. The specifications also show that it can be used versatilely in many different sized pools. I plan to update my review when we can actually set it up in summertime, but so far this looks amazing! Also it has a two year limited warranty from Intex.

Convenient, reliable and Clean
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ~ Greetings, I received this item, Intex Krystal Clear Saltwater System from Intex and Influenster complimentary, in exchange of my honest view. This is a great item, and it is made for above ground pools, and uses salt to clear your pool water. To the filter water you simply add salt, then you simply connect to your filter pump with included hose on this device! The rest is automatic; the de solved salt molecules passes through the electric cells, where they get split and turn into chlorine as chlorine tends to kill bacteria, then the system with this machine, reverts back the chlorine into salt, leaving your above ground swimming pool water fresh and clean. This machine also has easy and simple digital control and timer for easy scheduling. We instantly put this machine into work. What I saw and noticed was the clarity of the water inside the pool! A++++

Great pool pump
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was given to me free in exchange for a review. This pump works great to include the suction, flow and circulating the pool water well. The suction filter was able to suck up leaves well. It does make a little noise when running. The machine itself is not too noisy though (its more like a humming sound) when suctioning out debris. I definitely prefer this one over the old one

Easy to set up
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received this intro 1000 gph/easy set up filter from Influenster and Intex in exchange for my honest review. Well the filter was definitely easy to install . It literally took about 10 min. So far pool seems fresh and clean during its first week of use. By week 2 it seems like it is not keeping the pool as clean as it was the previous week . Also there has been some leaking from the filter tubes, I’m going to have to go back and retighten some things But that doesn’t explain the losss of power. I probably would not recommend this to family or friends.

Great for smaller above ground pools
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in a very urban area and i do not have that big of a back yard and as much as i would love an in ground pool i just can not fit it. I went out becausr my kids just need water to be in and bought a nice smaller 5 foot high above groumd pool and it works great to keep it nice and clean. This is great for a nice small above ground pool.
