First iPhone after HTC, Windows Phone, and Android
I do enjoy the interoperability between the Mac Mini and iPad and such, but the volume situation has me considering switching back to Android. Android has separate volume controls for notifications, ringtones, alarms, media, et cetera. This makes it easy to customize the sound to your liking. There is no reason other than stubbornness on Apple's part for them to leave out such a vital feature.Time will tell if I am able to just settle for this inferior implementation of volume control. Everything else is fine, and the camera quality is excellent.

Stylish Yet Struggling: A Review of My Experience
It’s a beautiful device, but I’m not completely satisfied with the camera. It lacks stability, especially when taking close-up shots as they often turn out blurry. Moreover, every time I unlock my phone, the Face ID doesn’t work immediately—I still have to enter the passcode.

I love it!
I absolutely LOVE this phone! It’s gorgeous and I love having 5G+ at my home! I live in a rural area and I only had LTE with my 13 Pro Max. This phone has great battery life and tons of cool features.

Not a fan
Notch raised too high around lens making to hold to hold and find a case. The camera lense cover whole top so hands have a difficult time grasping. Also the feature of a silent button is confusing when trying to snap pics. Customers did not need a change and this one is annoying. Phone is very very heavy, regret my upgrade.

Apple continues to create great products and features- and the iPhone 17 Pro Max is no exception. The camera is amazing and the new ios26 is fantastic. Still working through getting used to certain modifications in traditional features- but overall a great improvement from a great predecessor!

Better battery less durable
Excellent Battery definitely getting a ton more screen time. Whereis I would have to charge before getting home with my 16 PM I now make it home with 25%+ battery easily lasting all day. It's much snappier and the camera is of course alot better too. Where the down fall is lays in the build quality. Switching to aluminum from titanium was a GIGANTIC mistake. My 16pm had virtually know wear after a year of use I dropped the 17PM once from like 2 ft and have permanent scuffs and dents.

Camera issues
After Beta IOS26 downloaded on its own , my camera went haywire . I had uninstalled the update off my phone and then master reset my phone. Beta updates …I don’t recommend if it’s offered and the updates aren’t official releases . Apple support can’t help other than telling you to restore your phone. Big inconvenience if you don’t have iTunes on a computer. Now , you have to attend an apple in store appointment or walk in.
