Q: Do I need to sterilize before first use

submitted by Roth - 6 years ago
  • A: Always sterilize every baby thing, pacifier, bottle, toys. Anything that goes in their mouth

submitted byBritrany - 9 months ago
  • A: Hi Ash, Thanks for your question! We do suggest sterilizing before the first use by placing the pacifiers in boiling water for 5 minutes. Allow to cool and squeeze any water from the nipple. You can also clean before each subsequent use by washing in warm water with mild soap and rinsing thoroughly. Thank you!

Q: can i sterilize them in the Dr. Brown's Bottle and Pacifier Sterilizer and Dryer?

submitted by Sarah - 2 years ago
  • A: Hi, Thanks for your question! We suggest following our recommended care instructions: Before 1st use, place pacifier in boiling water for 5 minutes. Allow to cool and squeeze any water. Clean pacifier before each use with warm water and mild soap. Rinse thoroughly with clean water. Do not clean with abrasive cleaning agents or antibacterial cleanser. Pacifier is dishwasher safe, top rack only. Inspect pacifier and nipple before each use for signs of wear. Throw away at the first signs of damage or weakness.

Q: How do these compare in size, shape, and texture to the Avent ones that the hospital gives out? They're the only ones my son will take but I'm looking for one with a handle.

submitted by Monica - 5 years ago
  • A: Hi, Thanks for your question! Our pacifiers are made of 100% food grade silicone. The nipple is round and it's soft and easy for a newborn baby to collapse while also being engineered to be durable even when baby’s teeth are coming in.
