The teether is a nice silicone, that is removable, but overall the toy can be washed as a whole with ease. The crinkle inside is definitely guaranteed to keep them occupied. As with any hoops however, my kiddo likes to wear them as a bracelet, so if that's a concern I'd exercise caution.

Love for Our Rainbow Baby!
I like to buy rainbow things for our rainbow baby, and this rainbow teether is very much loved in our home. Our little girl likes to chew on soft things versus harder teethers so this is perfect for her. She is 8 months but has been playing with this for a few months. It's small and lightweight enough for little ones to manage, and to carry in a diaper bag without weighing it down. Our little girl likes the little ribbons and the crinkly noise the rainbow makes. I know that it says "surface clean only and not to immerse in water" but I do and it comes out absolutely fine. I just can't see giving anything to my little ones for them to chew on without being able to completely clean. I wash this in the sink with some dish soap and sometimes some white vinegar and then let it air dry.
