About the Author



Before becoming a writer and illustrator Tom McLaughlin spent nearly a decade working as a political cartoonist taking the plunge into illustrating and writing kids' books. Since then he has written and illustrated near 30 books, including The Story Machine, as well as working in animation design, script writing and an occasional columnist.
