We decided to try Jack's Thin Crust sausage and pepperoni pizza tonight for the first and last time. Hands down the worst frozen pizza 🍕 we have ever tried! The sauce has no flavor. I had to put good seasons salad seasoning on it to get some flavor.the crust is similar to stale crackers and cardboard. Definitely never again. The sausage has little flavor along with the dry pepperoni.

As the title says, grilling the pizza (gas grill, 400 degrees for the recommended time) is really good. It adds a new depth of flavor. It's good to be able to have a frozen pizza grilled as opposed to heat the house in the middle of summer.
Better'n so many pizzas "out"

Right out of the package this is a great, reliable and tasty pal. Chuck a couple little tweaks on there (little cheese, a little Italian seasoning maybe??) and it's as good as any pie we can find here in the wasteland of pizza, Central Florida. ALWAYS have some on hand, having one tonight. YUM.

A cashier told my husband she was having a love affair with Jacks pepperoni pizza. So we tried it and it was the best frozen pizza we have had in a long time. We only buy Jacks pepperoni frozen pizza now. Usually make it twice a month.
Getting cheapened garbage and paying more for it!

Talk about what WAS good has now been made into cheap garbage! The price has gone up and the quality down. We switched from Tombstone to Jack's years ago and now we'll be switching to something else. Yes, it's frozen pizza, but that doesn't mean I like throwing money away. For a dollar or two more, I can go down the street and pick up a freshly made pizza from one of those nation wide chains, but that's not the point. I like having the convenience of making a pizza at home and it should taste GOOD, but should have decent ingredients with a good amount on the pizza. Nope! Use better ingredients and don't skimp on the amount and don't charge me MORE for less! Do better! Whatever happened to quality control?

Where’s the Cheese?

Alright- my picture speaks for itself! WHERE IS THE CHEESE? Where’s the sauce? Jack’s has always had a great taste for it’s price point, but over the years we have seen the ingredients lessen while the consumer price does not. (Is this why the ‘Proudly Wisconsin Cheese’ is no longer on your packaging?) Trying to keep costs low? Understandable- but when you’re in the business of making pizza- the people want cheese!! It might be time to start complaining to your suppliers, the cheese plant, the MIDDLE man.. (because thats who’s driving the cost of cheese). Or maybe take a line from a dairy farmer and take a hit to the ol company checkbook. LESS INCOME FOR THE SAME QUALITY PRODUCT.

Good taste, worsening quality

Still the best pizza as far as taste goes, however I fear the quality is going downhill. First it was just a few, but now it seems to be almost every jacks pizza I buy. Inconsistent cheese spread/too little cheese leaves many parts of the pizza to be just crust and sauce as shown in the attached photos.

Packaging does not include cooking instructions such as oven temperature. It just says cook in oven for 13 minutes. Hope it turns out OK?
1 reply from Jack's Pizza® Brand Ambassador team - 3 years ago
Our pizza should be baked in a pre-heated oven at 425 degrees. Full baking instructions are printed on the back label of our pizza, with the nutrition facts. We hope this helps!

Have been buying jacks singles for.. years..! I am not sure if it is merely fresher, different ingredients, preparation method, purchese method, add ons or what. I am steering toward a combination of preparation method and maybe fresher 3 pack,,,,, but man oh man i think i have noticed a difference…. For the gooder

Congratulations, you now have the worst frozen pizza in the market. The recipe has changed, don't say it hasn't. Either the sauce or the pepperonis have changed and it is terrible. Avid customer since back when you guys had those awesome pizza rolls that got discontinued. Such a shame, I first noticed about a month ago. Thought it was a fluke, waited a month then tried it again. Nope still terrible :( Why would anyone mess with perfection.

I used to love Jacks pizza, number one over all the rest even the expensive ones... Best taste, fair price, top winner overall... not sure what happened recently the past few times I've bought the pizza the crust is now bumpy. So now when cooked, you have really brittle hard crust spots mixed with soft spots here and there.. hopefully they go back to the old way soon, I miss eating my favorite pizza. I will try again in another couple months to hopfully give the company time to realize its mistake and go back to old crust.

Our crust recipe hasn't changed, however, sometimes our products are made at different bakeries which could account for variations in the crust. We're sending an email your way to learn more!
