A: Dermaplaning does remove peach fuzz & facial hair using a single blade razor. A quality blade has micro-shields to protect skin from nicks & cuts, so it is much safer to use than a traditional blade. If you have any concerns about dermaplaning, please consult a dermatologist, however, most people do not find that dermaplaning will cause peach fuzz to grow back thicker, darker, or faster. The color, thickness, and growth rate of facial hair is determined by genetics and hormones at the hair follicle, beneath the skin's surface, and are not typically affected by shaving.

A: Dermaplaning doesn't make hair grow back coarser because it only removes fine vellus hair (peach fuzz) from the skin's surface, not affecting the deep hair follicles that determine hair thickness, color, and growth rate, which are controlled by genetics and hormones.

A: Thanks for your question in regard to our Precision Dermaplaners. Unlike most dermaplaners on the market, which are designed for 1x use, our blades are made with superior Japanese steel and can be used up to 4x - depending on each person's individual skin and hair type. A: Hi! Thanks for asking! We recommend applying a serum to ensure the dermaplaner can glide easily across the skin.
