There Are few Reasons to Take off The Tour One M3

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To summarize right off the bat, I've had the Tour One M3's for around two months now...and at least 5 days a week I've been wearing them for a majority my waking hours. So I'll start with comfort. It's like they're not even there...which says a lot coming from someone who wears glasses. I mean, I can tell that they are on, but they're completely neutral on my head. And they stay there for anything shy of sprinting or headbanging. I'm on calls or conference calls most of my day, bouncing between a headset, phone, laptop speakers. The M3 replaced all of those and I don't really have a reason to take them off in between because my music just kicks back on. Seriously, 8+ hours a day. Which you'd think would be hard on the battery, but it's not. To put it into perspective, I charged them Saturday night, listened to music a while on Sunday, and used them 8+ hours yesterday and today. Might need to charge them tomorrow, but since they're already my computer headset all I need to do is plug them in for an hour to get another couple days of juice. The call quality (phone and virtual meetings) is outstanding, with no notable difference between being plugged in or bluetooth. Previously I had been using a gaming-oriented headset for virtual meetings, and the difference was noticeable enough that a few people mentioned the difference clarity and lack of background noise. "Oh wow, you sound like you!" Getting it connected to my different devices and swapping between them was cake, and the phone app works great. I've used the JBL app for a set of earbuds, so I was expecting the same deal. Didn't realize there were product specific features. (white noise generator is a favorite) Then there's the little bluetooth-adapter/dongle/touchscreen controller. I didn't even bother with it for the first couple weeks, until I realized it's a great for watching movies. My TV and stereo head unit don't have bluetooth, so it's been a bit of a treat to walk around the house listening to old records. As far as music listening quality goes? They won't make you want to throw your high-end wired cans in the trash, but they'll make an argument for not swapping them out when you want to listen to some music. There is a quality difference, but not one big enough to sacrifice being able to walk around the house with them on. They do sound better when plugged in, but if you're streaming music you won't near much of a difference either way. They aren't as transparent as a studio headset, but they don't dramatically alter the EQ either. The noise cancelling is fantastic for the wearer and those on the other end of the line, and the ambient-aware feature makes the headphones sound almost invisible...but it could definitely high-pass/treble-reduction feature. The treble gets pretty harsh in louder areas. Anyway, the moral of the story here is that the M3's don't give you a lot of reasons to take them off. For most things you need to do, it's just more convenient and comfortable to leave them on. I would highly recommend trying a pair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] JBL Tour ONE M3 Smart TX One of the first things you’ll notice the easy glide headphone case (included) This pair of headphones is feature packed! The smooth glossy black is easy on the eyes. The headphone cups are indeed full ‘over the ear’ sized and are VERY comfortable. The ANC (Automatic Noise Cancellation) is the best I’ve ever heard. I had to take them off several times to see where the sound went. The microphone array placed in and around these headphones for spacial array is second to none! I’ve found that this pair of headphones is my number one when it comes to listening to ANC and over-the-ear. The usb-C to usb-C is a nice upgrade as well….in fact all of the accessories fit nicely in the headphones case. Smart Transmitter with Auracast. Auracast is a Bluetooth technology that enables audio broadcasting from one device to multiple other devices. -Lossless Audio Hi-Res Certified -JBL Spacial Headtracking -8 Mic True Adaptive Noise Cancellation 2.0 -4 Mic Superior Calls w/ Adaptive Beam Forming Technology. JBL Tour M3 Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] **After doing the first round of firmware updates on the TX it would no longer transmit audio from any source, I also found that no matter what I did, TX or not, the headphones wouldn’t work pairing to my PC for whatever reason. I have a ticket open to solve these issues, so I will assume it’s a new product software issue and make the rest of this review disregarding this hefty issue for now** The Tour M3 headphones are clearly a frontrunner flagship wireless headphone. With all the kinds of features you’d expect in a headphone of this caliber plus more that you didn’t think of. With excellent sound and a wonderful stereo soundstage these headphones pack some punch and really deliver in bass and clarity, everything feels like it has room. JBL’s app lets you fine tune the audio with EQ and control all of the snazzy features easily. These are a dream set of commuter headphones and have every bell and whistle you could possibly ask for. With a super effective noise canceling and comfortable fit and seal, robust features for active listening and talking with the headphones on, and plenty of customization and control. While they have a less premium construction than I’d like, and the thin “vegan” leather likely won’t last too long before starting to wear out. These headphones really deliver and are firmly competitive in their field. For those who want more specific thoughts I’ll add it below: Build: This was one of the most lacking aspects of the Tour M3’s. Honestly it’s all pretty par for the course and matches other flagship wireless headphones it’s competing with. That being said, it’s fully plastic construction is extremely plain and doesn’t have much curb appeal. It keeps the headset lightweight and has a nice matte texture that stays fairly clean looking after use. The earpads and headband are a very thin “vegan” leather that I don't anticipate lasting too terribly long. I would have preferred a cloth instead as they are more comfortable and last longer than the fake leather. On the other hand the functionality of the build is great, the folding earcups, button styles and placement are easy to use, the fit is comfortable and the seal is good. Sound: The sound quality of these headphones is great. It has an excellent soundstage and the clarity of individual elements is enhanced compared to most listening experiences. Though due to the strength of the stereo image, you do end up feeling like the center lacks a little punch sometimes, and the lead vocals can get a bit more buried since the sides are getting more attention. They handle low frequencies quite well, though I found it could use a little EQ cleanup so that the bass doesn’t over power (and I like a lot of bass). I also felt it lacked a bit of high end clarity. This is getting a bit nitpicky of course, it has a great baseline sound, but I did find myself bumping the high ends on the EQ more than I normally would, and it still felt like you were missing a little bit of “air” room. All in all the sound quality is some of the best I’ve experienced in a wireless over ear headphone, the only headphone eclipsing it being a different JBL set and most likely largely preferential. Software: The app is useful as usual, and there is a nice amount of control for all the great features which all work quite well. Having customization for pretty much every feature is nice, changing the amount of time you want it to dim the audio during “smart talk” when it senses you speaking, or the amount of audio it lets in when set to active listening, and many other cases like these give this way more adaptability than many headphones. The TX has WAY more features than you’d expect (even a “flashlight” mode). I enjoyed being able to change the background on the little screen as well. The functionality of this little do-hickey is nice for being able to more easily connect to more sources on the go, as well as have control over your headphone features without opening the app (like tweaking your active listening settings or smart talk settings). One complaint I have about it is that it seems to take up one of the headphones' 2 bluetooth connections, whether or not you’re using it. So it ends up essentially making the headphone only have 1 connection possible at a time (I could be wrong about this)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Tour One M3 headphones present a compelling choice for audiophiles and casual listeners alike, showcasing a blend of comfort, functionality, and advanced features. Here’s an in-depth look at the strengths and weaknesses of this high-end ANC headphone model. Strengths: 1. All-day Comfort: The first standout feature of the JBL Tour One M3 is its remarkable comfort. The soft earcups and padded headband ensure that these headphones can be worn for extended periods without discomfort, rivaling even the top-tier ANC headphones available on the market today. 2. Excellent Battery Life: With an impressive battery life, the Tour One M3 promises multiple days of use on a single charge. This long-lasting performance not only enhances user convenience but also contributes to the overall durability of the product, making it suitable for both daily commutes and long trips. 3. Effective Noise Cancellation: The active noise cancellation capabilities are a significant highlight, adept at blocking out distractions in various noisy environments. Users will likely find this feature invaluable whether they’re in a bustling café or traveling on public transport. 4. Feature-rich: The headphones come packed with advanced features, including a SMART Tx remote/transmitter for easy playback control and low-energy codec audio transmission. These enhancements position them as a well-equipped option for tech-savvy users looking for innovative functionality. 5. Wired Connectivity: In an age where many devices are moving towards wireless-only options, the inclusion of a wired connectivity option is a refreshing touch. This versatility allows users to enjoy high-quality audio without worrying about battery life. 6. Foldable Design: The foldable design is a practical advantage, making the headphones easy to store and transport. This portability caters to users who are constantly on the move. 7. Lightweight Build: While the plastic construction may not have the luxurious feel some might expect, it does contribute to a lightweight design, enhancing comfort for prolonged use. Weaknesses: 1. Fit Issues: Despite their comfort, some users with smaller head sizes may find the fit less than ideal, which could potentially compromise the overall listening experience. 2. Touch Controls: The sensitivity of the touch controls on the earcup has garnered criticism, as they can lead to accidental pauses or changes in playback, detracting from usability. 3. Build Quality: The predominantly plastic build may not appeal to those seeking a more premium aesthetic. While it keeps the weight down, some users might desire a heftier, more robust construction. 4. Audio Quality: Although the audio performance is decent, there’s a subtle implication that competing models may offer enhanced audio nuances, potentially affecting the experience for discerning listeners. 5. Noise Cancellation Comparison: While effective, the noise cancellation prowess of the Tour One M3 might not exceed that of some competitors, which could be a consideration for users prioritizing this feature. Overall Impression: In summary, the JBL Tour One M3 headphones are a solid and practical option for those who value comfort, long battery life, and effective noise cancellation. They present a strong feature set, though the build quality and touch control sensitivity may leave some room for improvement. Positioned within a competitive price range, these headphones serve as a credible player in the high-end ANC market. Ultimately, potential buyers will need to weigh their personal preferences and prioritize their desired features when considering this model against its rivals.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in love with the new JBL Tour One M3’s. First things first, the sound quality in these smart headphones stands up to if not over any and every other headphone I have ever used. It delivers on all frequencies and it delivers well. The lows are deep and powerful. The mids are punchy and clean, and the highs are sharp and pronounced. They are the best sounding headphones my ears have ever heard. The accompanying remote gives you the ability to toggle the features that the headphones are capable of such as auracast, and ambient noise and also shows the remaining battery life for both the headphones and the remote along with the time. I have yet to use all the features it offers, such as the capability to listen from analog devices. It will be a game changer for some people but most of my devices are Bluetooth so I am more interested in the noise cancelling the clear voice and the call features. The noise cancelling is outstanding. While using the Tour M3 over a waterfall in northern Minnesota all I heard was the music coming through these bad boys. The clear voice worked really well and my phone calls home were clear and precise on both ends. In summary, I can’t find anything from the fit to the look and feel to the functionality and performance of the JBL Tour One M3’s performance that doesn’t deliver short of amazingly. Great job JBL!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I originally got these headphones because I wanted some wireless headphones for gaming and communication, and these ended up being perfect for that! I love the audio transceiver, it is able to seamlessly plug into my game console The Audio seems fairly accurate, but doesn't have much bass. Not a huge deal since I'm not using it for music. My friends say the mic quality is decent as I'm talking to them. The build quality is a bit mixed. They are comfortable, but the plastic parts feel fragile in my hands. Metal hinges would have been appreciated. I think these headphones would be best suited for someone prioritizing versatility and wireless performance. Someone who travels, perhaps. These wireless headphones aren't restricted to Bluetooth devices, and are probably to the most convenient wireless audio device I've used. JBL also loves to shower us with important cords, one for every occasion! From experience, the cords jbl provides lasts years. Super happy to get more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Tour One M3 Smart TX headphones are a high-quality, travel-friendly pair that delivers immersive sound for both work and leisure. As someone who works remotely and travels often, I needed something that could keep up with my lifestyle. From the moment I unboxed them, the build quality stood out. The headphones feel solid and premium without being bulky. I was very impressed with how easily they folded into the compact travel case—definitely a plus. One standout feature is the Smart Talk technology, which automatically pauses the audio when I speak. It’s subtle but so convenient. The Adaptive Noise Cancelling is top-tier—I tested them on a noisy flight and barely heard a thing. Battery life is excellent; I’ve gone several days without needing a recharge, even with heavy use. These headphones have added a level of comfort and efficiency to my daily routine. I can jump between video calls, music, and podcasts without touching my phone thanks to intuitive touch controls. They also support multipoint Bluetooth, which has made switching between my laptop and phone seamless. Overall, I’m genuinely impressed. I’d recommend the JBL Tour One M3 to commuters, remote workers, and audiophiles alike.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Tour One M3 Headphones are the best headphones I have ever tested. These premium over-ears have amazing noise cancellation performance thanks to the active noise cancelling (ANC). These headphones block out sounds coming from the ambience, and I’ve got to say, they do a pretty good job. I’ve been using them at the gym and on the street while riding my bicycle, and they do a much better job blocking the sounds than in-ear headphones. The battery lasts long, much longer than other similar headphones that I have. They are very comfortable; the material feels very premium, not too heavy, and soft, so you can wear them for long periods without fatigue or discomfort. I love JBL’s bass sound their products have; they have the best bass sound. These headphones bring the bass sound to another level; in the app, you can adjust how strong it is. If you prefer a different sound, you can adjust it to your tastes using their companion app's graphic EQ and presets, and this time you can change these settings not only from the app but also from the Smart TX transmitter that comes with the headset. They have a few more extra features that add to their versatility. The sound is immersive; I just love how it feels in your ears. It is like they improve everything, every sound and comfort. At the beginning, I had an issue when switching between noise cancelling, ambient sound, and TalkThru. I could hear a middly pitch every everytime I switched, but it went away after I downloaded and updated the headphone’s firmware through the app. The phone calls are clear and crisp; people can hear me just fine even in a windy outdoor environment, which is a major problem for many headsets. The only thing I found "weird is that you can hear yourself talking through the headset; it is like the headset is also reproducing what you are saying so you can be certain to be heard in the other side of the phone call. For these headphones, the app has extra features that other headphones don’t have, such as “Auto Play & Pause” which is one of my favorites; it auto-pauses the music if you take the headphones off and resumes playing when you put them on. Another interesting and very helpful feature is “Smart Talk.” When you are using TalkThru, this feature will just lower the volume automatically and put the volume back the way it was once the chat is over. I love it. The button layout in the headset is good, although it takes some time for you to memorize it, but after that everything is like a walk in the park. The only thing I didn’t like about the buttons is that you have to slide down the power button to turn up the phones, one will think it should have been the other way around, but it’s ok, no biggie. The case is great and easy to carry because it has a grip with two straps, one with a clip that you can attach to your pants, and I'm glad the case also has space for the Smart TX transmitter; everything fits just fine in the case. The Smart TX transmitter is a great addition; it has only one button with a touch screen, and despite the size of the screen, you can perform the touch actions just fine. I consider myself a person with big fingers, and I never have an issue when selecting what I want on the small screen of this device. You can adjust the timer and the brightness, change its wallpaper, and use the screen as a flashlight. On it, you can change which peripheral should be connected to the headphones. The screen is bright and full of color, and it also displays the battery percentage for the headphones and the Smart TX, The transmitter has a ton of choices at the reach of your hand without having to use your phone.

JBL Tour One M3 Smart Tx Headphones – A Premium Li

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the JBL Tour One M3 Smart Tx headphones for a little while now, and I’m honestly impressed. These headphones strike a great balance between performance, design, and thoughtful features that elevate the overall experience. What I Love: Remote Tx Controller – The Smart Tx controller is a standout. It gives me precise, intuitive control without having to dig into my phone every time I want to tweak settings. It’s responsive and adds a layer of convenience that I really appreciate, especially when I'm on the go. Excellent Noise Cancellation – The ANC on these is top-tier. Whether I’m working in a noisy café or trying to tune out distractions at home, it consistently delivers a peaceful listening environment. It adapts really well to different surroundings, blocking out unwanted sounds without any noticeable impact on audio quality. Sound Quality – The sound is simply fantastic. Rich, balanced, and detailed across all frequencies. Bass hits with power but doesn’t muddy the mids or highs. Vocals are crisp, and there’s a real depth to the audio that makes music, podcasts, and calls a joy to listen to. Build & Case Quality: JBL absolutely nailed the build quality on these. They feel solid, premium, and well-crafted. But what really surprised me is the case. It’s exceptionally well-designed — sturdy, sleek, and functional. There’s a concealed zipper, clever cable pockets, and even markings that show you the correct way to place the headphones inside. Every detail has been thought through, and it protects the headphones beautifully. It's one of the best cases I've seen included with headphones at any price point. Final Thoughts: The JBL Tour One M3 Smart Tx headphones are a top-tier option if you’re looking for premium noise-cancelling headphones with smart features and outstanding audio. From the sound to the smart control to the little design touches — especially that incredible case — these headphones show what attention to detail can really mean in a product.

While at work, I use the noise canceling to be able to focus on my design layouts while listening to music and taking phone calls. I have them connected to my computer with the Universal Auracast Audio Transmitter. I also use the Universal Auracast Audio Transmitter to connect to my other JBL speaker. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Starting with the construction; they are made well and feel sturdy. They fit very snug and I can move without them sliding around. They are a bit too tight for long periods, but I attribute that to them being new. The controls are pretty straightforward, especially if you’ve owned a pair of over the ear style headphones before. Once you get used to where all of the controls are, it’s fairly simple to make them do what you want them to do. The sound from them is good. I haven’t gotten a chance to use all of the different equalizer settings on different genres of music yet, but the sound is pretty solid. The voice is clear. I didn’t know that there was a new update….i just downloaded it! Three thumbs up for the new Eq settings. Some of them are the same as the original ones, but there are more to choose from, to get the sound stage that you want. With these settings, the voice is even better! The highs are decent. The base is good for headphones. My only wish is for a little more volume. But, I will also give credit where credit is due; thanks for saving my hearing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] THese new JBL TOur one M3 bring all of the knacks that make jbl headphones special and them some. WIth the smart case you can listen to music being played through devices like airplane monitors that allows you to listen to movie or music on the monitor without cords. The sound options including LDAC and various ANC and ambient options allows you to either block out more than 95% of enviornmental osunds or listen to music and have a conversation simultaneously. I would recommend these headphones if you want good audio worth the price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using these headphones for the last 4 days. I have used them while mowing my lawn outside, listening to music at my pc and using them as gaming headphones. I have to say the quality of this product is top notch. Solid headphones with very soft earpads. Once you put these on, the noise cancelling works really well. It outclasses other top headphones on the market in noise cancelling. The controls are easy to use and it pairs quickly with my devices. It took me a while to get used to the touch to start and stop the music on the side earpad. Overall I really like the headphones. the music is crisp and base is strong.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are no doubt the best headphones ever! They are super soft and feel like putting a pillow on your ears. The Noise Cancelling is amazing, can't hear my lawnmower over them and the sound quality is JBL or (Superior!). The transmitter is super nice as well, no need to fumble around with my cell phone anymore while running, mowing the lawn or any other activity! You can literally lose track of time and your surrounds while wearing these, it sounds like you are absolutely right inside a studio! Huge Score for JBL again!
