From the Brambles.Oven-toasted oat streusel and a sweet-tart “brambleberry” jam of blackberries and blackcurrants layered throughout vanilla ice cream.Brambleberry Crisp is inspired by the brambly berry bushes that litter the hillsides of the Appalachian foothills—the kinds of purple berries Jeni used to pick as a child. The sweet vanilla ice cream is made with high-quality vanilla from Madagascar and oven-toasted, brown sugar oat streusel is based on Jeni’s family recipe. The jam is made just for us—including grown-for-us blackberries from our longtime farm partner, Hirsch Fruit Farm. All of these elements come together to form a flavor reminiscent of a fresh berry fruit crisp with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. First introduced in 2009 during our Foggy Mountain Collection, which highlighted the flavors and culture of Appalachia, Brambleberry Crisp was such a superstar that we had to keep it on the menu full-time.

I’m convinced Jeni’s (which is Columbus, Ohio based) makes the best ice cream and this is the best flavor I’ve had. Hands down. It costs more because it’s superior.

Jeni's is a local ice cream chain based out of Nashville, and I always stopped by when I would visit to get this flavor. I am SO happy to find that my Target carries it!! Y'all. Brambleberry Crisp ice cream tastes like eating a bowl of berry cobbler with ice cream at your grandma's house. It's not overly sweet, has the PERFECT ratio of fruit to streusel to vanilla ice cream, and is my go-to when I need a pick-me-up. I would HIGHLY recommend this brand to anyone who loves ice cream and wants to experiment with some delicious flavor pairings! TREAT YO SELF TO SOME JENI'S BOO! She's never steered me wrong!

This is definitely a situation where price equals quality. Best ice cream I’ve ever had, the texture of the streusel and the jam and just the VANILLA ICE CREAM. I feel like Jeni milked the cow herself. so good. 10/10

Only dislike is the price. But the best ice cream I’ve ever had. Rich and can taste every individual flavor. My favorite splurge in the frozen section. I’m so glad target started carrying this.

I have a fair amount of ice cream and have heard great things about Jeni’s. This is the first flavor I tried, and it’s a 10/10. The brambleberry / blackberry swirl is light, tart, but also sweet. Not overpowering at all. The best part is the sweet oat streusel!! It adds a nice texture and the vanilla ice cream is perfect :) expensive, but so worth it.
