Smells awful.
I bought this lotion because it smelt like cake frosting in the bottle, but I will be returning it because it smells awful on the skin. It smells like syrup. It definitely gives a scent similar to a spray tan.

I love the hydration this provides but the smell is odd. It gives off more of a coffee/play doughy smell with a hint of vanilla. My husband said it smells good but it does bother me from time to time because I'm very sensitive to certain scents. Love the hydration though, I would recommend smellling in person before purchasing to see if the scent is for you!

Since my skin is very dry and sensitive, I normally go in with a fragrance free lotion first and then I use a scented body lotion. Also, I'm very picky when it comes to vanilla fragrances, however this one smells amazing. It's not too strong, it's just the right amount of vanilla.

I like that it is a pump bottle and the color/design is pleasing. My favorite part is the smell, I love vanilla. It’s warm, sweet,and not overpowering. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best thing about this lotion is it's very moisturizing. I have really dry skin so having a moisturizing lotion is very important to me. I can apply some at the start of my day and my skin stays moisturized throughout the day. It also makes my skin really soft, which is a plus. So I didn't like the scent as much as I'd hoped i would. Vanilla is my favorite scent but this isn't the sweet vanilla I like. It's not a terrible smelling lotion but just not my preference on vanilla.

If that's not a bad thing for you, I will say it is wonderful for the way it softens the skin deep and quickly leaving no film behind.
