Applewood Premier bacon
I have always gone with Jimmy Dean products such as breakfast sandwiches and sausage products. I can't tell you how disappointed I have been with your bacon. It is sliced so thin that I'm lucky to be able to get 3 whole slices of bacon and very fatty. With the price of food you try to find deals but I guess I will pay a few dollars more to get a good quality bacon.

Strange offputting taste
This bacon is probably the worst I've ever tried. I will say that it's not very fatty so there is better retention than most brands of bacon but it has a strange flavor that I do not care for. It's not very salty and I would have sworn that it had artificial smoke flavoring added to it. I checked with the manufacturer and they say it does not so all I can do is take them at their word. The bacon has a bit of a bitter aftertaste that is frankly very unpleasant and not something I've experienced with any other brand of bacon. I'm curious if others have the same experience. This is not isolated to one pack. I've tried at least a half dozen different packs and they were all bought at different times and identical.

I'll never buy Jimmy Dean bacon again
The bacon is sliced so thin you can't get the strips apart to cook them. Store brand bacon is better than this junk!

The absolute best bacon!
Today we tried JimmyDean Applewood Smoked Premium Bacon for the first time, I had to come here to review. This was absolutely the best bacon we have EVER had. Cooking and cleanup were easy. I am so glad my grocery store was sold out of our usual, we will never buy it again. JimmyDean is our new favorite! Really, this is the best!!!

Shrunk
While this bacon tastes fine it shrunk up considerably. I was very disappointed by the amount of bacon left after frying. I’d expect this from some lower store brands but bought this bacon because of the name. Not worth the money.

Extremely disappointed in Jimmy Dean Apple smoked
I hope my experience with the apple smoked bacon product is not representative of the Jimmy Dean name and other products. Bacon sliced so thin you can sop through it. Sliced so thin & stacked so closely in the package that it’s impossible to separate one slice from another without them shredding apart. I’ve purchased Jimmy Dean products through the years but the quality of this purchase causes me to rethink buying Jimmy Dean products…in a negative way.

Inconsistent quality
Good bacon but this last package was more than 1/3 pure fat. Too bad it was discovered on Christmas morning. Very disappointed.

Sliced too thin
If you need bacon as an ingredient, do not use this! It is sliced so thin more than 75% of the slices broke apart while taking it out of the package. I even tried to “roll” each strip to handle gently. Needless to say the texture of my finished dish was terrible. I used three packs and all were the same.

I know bacon is salty, but this bacon was extremely salty! It was so salty, I didn't even notice the smoked applewood flavor! I would never buy this again.

I tried this bacon for the first time, applewood smoked jimmy dean and as soon as it started cooking all i smelt was syrup? it wasnt maple bacon so im confused

Thin and hard to peel apart from other strips
Really thin and flops over itself or partially peels from next strip down resulting in bunched bacon.

All Fat no meat-terrible
I have company this morning and pulled out the JD Applewood Smoked Bacon. Its the only slab of bacon I have to serve my guests. Its AWFUL. All fat, no meat. The company should be ashamed to produce such a bad product!!!

Apple wood bacon
I don't think this is real bacon! Lab grown ? Makes no grease. Have to put oil in the pan so it doesn't burn. It doesn't even shrink up like real bacon . Dog wouldn't even touch it.

Best bacon🥓 ever!!!!
I've never used JD bacon before. I needed bacon from the store and they didn't have my usual brand of Oscar Myer, so I bought JD on the fly. I'll never buy any other brand again. This JD bacon was the best tasting bacon I've ever had, and I've eaten a lot of bacon at age 54. The cherry on top is the way it cooks. It's perfectly crispy without the burning, even the fat gets crispy.
