I haven’t personally tried the blueberry sausage egg and cheese sandwich, but that’s because I’m not a sausage fan! Would love to see in the future a bacon egg and cheese blueberry pancake sandwich though!! I’d buy them all!

This sandwich like most of the others they make are not good. The blueberry griddle cake sandwich just taste like poop. All of their sausage on their sandwiches taste like salt. The eggs on all of their sandwiches are just gooey mushy not even tasting like eggs. Do they ever test the food that they make? Or did all of their tasters lose their taste buds during Covid waste of money. The corner, gas stations, breakfast sandwiches blow Jimmy Dean’s out of the water and that’s sad.

Best Way to Prepare
At first try, I was very disappointed in the results of microwaving with the paper towel; the moisture from the process caused the pancake to stick to the paper towel and it destroyed it. Also, the bottom of the sandwich on other products, like the croissant or biscuit, hardens when set directly on the microwave plate. So after much experimentation, I found the PERFECT solution! This works on all brands of Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches. Give it a try, much better than a paper towel.

a whole lot of blue, not a lot of berries!!!
Blueberries taste way too strong and artificial, taking away from the sandwich!! They are also so grossly discolored by the blueberries that they look unappealing!

Breakfast for Dinner
These taste really good. I eat these for dinner when I don't want to cook. I love breakfast for dinner! The pancakes are great. Egg, cheese, sausage are great and not greasy at all. I usually buy the Jimmy Dean turkey sausage sandwiches. Those are good, but these are way more fun to eat.

Frozen Blueberries
Not sure if they even bothered to test this product. The blueberries are frozen solid and the rest of the sandwich is extremely hot.

Good...However!
The thing that I found very off putting was the very artificial, over the top blueberry flavoring. I mean blueberries are just way more subtle to the taste.This was just so strong ..almost perfumey ..to the point of being pungent so you know it's fake then I don't wanna eat another bite because I start obsessing on what chemical it must be that they're using. If that don't bother you..then great.

Normally great, but not lately!
We loved the blueberry breakfast sandwiches and have been extremely satisfied until just recently. The last couple of boxes purchased have been disappointing. The pancakes tore apart when trying to remove the paper towel. There was a small "hunk" missing out of two of them as if someone had taken a small bite. I threw those two away. We had friends here for breakfast last week and I was totally embarrassed to serve them all torn apart! I had decided not to purchase them again, but hubby said maybe it was just a bad shipment or older packages. If these had been the first time we had tried them, I would never have purchased again or recommended them to anyone. I hope this was just a fluke! P.S. To be fair, my recommendations below will be my experiences prior to the bad experiences.

Surprisingly Great Combo
This was my first ever purchase of a Jimmy Dean product. Each ingredient apealed to me and I couldn't deny that they were all together in a sandwich.

My fave breakfast for on the go!
PLEASE PLEEAASSSEEEEE never ever ever get rid of these! They are super good. And this is like the ultimate grab and go breakfast! You can’t beat this. Pancakes eggs cheese and sausage. I love them! Both the blue berry and regular kind. Don’t take them off the market. I love these! I just so happen to see them when I was looking for a new breakfast to try and I was like hmmm I’ll try this! First time purchase 10/10. If you take them off just let me know first so I can buy more.

Helpful hint of microwaving these
I always disliked putting these in the microwave and it goes over the whole plate. A simple fix is to put a toothpick in the middle of it and it holds it all together for a delightful breakfast, enjoy!!!!

Lack blueberry taste. Visual is not like shown.
I love the original griddle cakes but the blueberry is unappealing. First out of the box, the pancakes look moldy because of the color. After microwaved it still looks unappealing. I tried a couple bites and don’t even taste blueberry.

Blueberries too strong
I've always eaten the maple one and tried this one for the first time but it tastes very off. I love blueberry flavored stuff but the blueberries on this tasted too strong tainting the flavor of these sandwiches

Filling and Scrumptious!
These sandwiches are truly delicious! There’s just a touch of sweetness from the pancakes along with the trademark yumminess of the sausage. A little extra protein from the egg makes it very filling. I live in Hawai’i and things here tend to be available and then not available again. I really hope these keep making the trek across the Pacific because both my husband and I really love these!
