Q: Does this bag have a shoulder strap so you can carry it on your back?

A: Nope, HOWEVER, what I did after the seat was in, and used the cinch system, I tied the excess cord to the carry handle you see on the front and used it on my shoulder. Not ideal....but manageable traveling with one young child by yourself (which is what I did). :) Super easy to spot your bag when they decide to offload it with the rest of luggage instead of at the gate at my destination, so just in case they do that to you as well....

You are better off buying a sturdier, more protective bag for your car seat especially if it's a nice/new one. We used this bag for literally one flight to and from our destination and the bag arrived with holes, black marks everywhere, and scratches on the car seat. The cord is so long that the gate people closed it in the door and we had to wait for someone to re-open the gate door to get it out so we could put the carseat back onto the stroller, all while holding an infant, carry on bags, and trying to stay out of the way of everyone. I wrote our contact info on it of course and Target is still forcing us to ship it back for the refund.

Good for what it is but after a few flights started to get holes in the bag. The straps are not ideal to carry on the shoulder. If you’re traveling with another adult this will work but if you’re traveling alone, spend more and get something with wheels. I know for how much I travel with the little one, I will be buying one with wheels.

We bought this car seat bag for our airline travel about a year ago. We have probably used it 4 times so far and I can't use it anymore because the string to close it has fallen out. The material is also flimsy and is already more aged than the other car seat bag we have been using for 4 years for our older kids car seat.

I bought this bag for keeping it clean during 4 flights.The seams held up for the weight and size of my son's carseat. It filled the bag completely being such a large carseat and I was still able to tie it shut. The material did get ripped in a few spots from handling at the airport and a piece of my carseat was broken at the base because there is obviously no cushion, but luckily doesn't impact the safety of the carseat. I was worried if the handle would rip from the weight while carrying it but it never ripped. I would definitely purchase this bag again because it did keep my carseat clean and all tidy without having to worry if any of the belts/safety latches were dragging behind me.

We took a vacation to Florida last week and initially i wasn't going to buy anything for our car seats. However, i read somewhere that the car seats can get very dirty on the airplane without something to protect it. LET ME JUST SAY THAT THESE ARE A GOD SEND! I have 4 kids ages, 4, 3, 1 and 1 and we traveled with all 4 car seats, 1 stroller and 7 suitcases! These bags were so easy to slip over the car seats and tie off! The handle made it easy to carry and gave a place to put the tag. The price for these is on point! I also loved that when we got to the airport i stuffed them back into their attached pouched and stored them in the car for the week. I was pleasantly surprised with these! MUST BUY IF TRAVELING WITH SMALL KIDS!! Even if you use them once its well worth the money!
