Don't have a fabric tape measure? Use a shoelace or pant leg to measure. Then, lay it flat & use a ruler or tape measure to get a numerical measurement.

How to measure

  • Chest

    With arms at your sides, measure around the fullest part of your chest & shoulder blades, keeping the tape level & snug.

  • Waist

    Bend slightly to one side. The crease is where your natural waistline is. Measure a comfortable loose, level line around that point.

  • Inseam

    Take a pair of pants that fit well. Now measure along the seam from the crotch to the leg opening.

    Good comfy light versatile shorts

    Bought 2 pairs then I was so pleased bought 2 more. Of course the discount price on the camo was the incentive. Very well made, versatile, comfortable, light but I think will prove to be durable. They need a black color for these shorts.

    Runs a little large, but the stretchiness of the fabric is great for my back.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I should start by saying these run a little large. I'm a 36 but those were way too big. 34 fits much better. Without a belt they still feel like they could fall off me. But I have a lot of back problems so for me the looseness is actually an asset. There's zero stretch in most of my shorts. And I'm assuming once I wash these, some of the stretchiness will go away. I got the camo pattern because it makes it very difficult to see a stain or spot and that is perfect for someone like me.

    Perfect in many ways. Bravo.

    I wear a lot of shorts. Have all my life, living by the beach. If these aren’t the best, they are close to it. Pocket scheme is great, deep but not too deep, back pockets zippered, and a nifty right side pocket for a large cell phone, and you don’t know it is in there. I have the faux camo color, it’s unique. And a gray pair. Wish they had a beige and other colors. Did I mention the fabric? Not too heavy or light, and just a wee bit of stretching quality. No, I’m not a shill for Jockey but do feel to commend good work.

    Great all-around shorts!

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Shorts were very comfortable. They were great on the cruise ship. We hiked around Bimini in the Bahamas and swam the warm waters. The shorts dried quickly. Nice enough with a polo or casual with a t-shirt. Definitely getting another pair.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shorts have a slightly weird rise; they are in between a lower rise and the regular rise short. The fabric, when I wore them, tended to wrinkle easily. I like the concept but I don’t think I would buy if I found and tried on at a store.

    Great stretch just a small modification needed in the hip area

She said they were not her favorite on me compared to other shorts i have but liked the material. I personally really like how they feel and the stretch of the pants but, in the front it, does appear to be more stretched across at my hip even though the waste fits perfectly
