Bold and Smoky Sipper
Johnnie Walker Double Black is smooth but packs a bold smoky punch. I love the hints of vanilla, oak, and spice that hit on the finish. It’s perfect for sipping neat or with a little ice when I want something richer than the standard Black Label. Definitely one I reach for when I want a full-flavored whisky experience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On first taste it has quite an intense smoky flavour which might not be to everyone's taste especially if you prefer a milder flavour. It's very smooth and blends perfectly with ice. The bottle suggests its a premium brand though not particularly eye catching but it would be a nice addition to your drinks cabinet or to give as a gift. Its a bit pricier than other brands I've tried however I feel it is worth it if you enjoy the rich, smoky taste.

Smooth, Smoky and Bold in flavour!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ll open my review by confessing I do drink Whisky but not regularly and usually within an Old Fashioned. I tried the Johnnie Walker Double Black straight with a splash of water and really enjoyed the smoky flavour with a subtle toffee-like sweetness. It was smooth and went down really well. I also swapped out my usual whisky to give my old fashioned a smoky flavour and I feel it took it to a different level. I will definitely be buying this again and will also be gifting to my whisky-loving brother too!

Goid whisky

It is an elevated step up from classic Black Label. It mixes well with ginger ale, or lemonade but I prefer it on the rocks. This is a premium Whiskey that is worth the price tag.

Great depth and flavour, excellent value
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The aroma hits you right away, it’s rich and smoky, and you can tell it’s good quality. The flavour is complex, you get the spiced clove and hints of orange and vanilla. It makes really delicious highballs when pairing it with ginger ale. The sleek, dark glass bottle gives it a really premium feel. Really good value for money and I’ll definitely be picking up another when I’m finished.

It is great for those who prefer a smokey flavour and is an amplified version of the classic black labeled one. It isn't one I would drink near but it mixes really well and tastes great! Rich and smokey!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Johnnie Walker Double Black Blended Scottish Whisky, is a rich smokey whisky. I tried it neat to start with, it was very warming, but smooth. I like to add, just one ice cube made from spring water and within seconds, it took it down to be even smoother. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this again, it was really lovely and warming. Would be lovely on a cold winters night. It felt like I was drinking a luxurious, quality whiskey!
