Joico Moisture Recovery Conditioner

I started using this about a year ago. Finally I've found the product I've been searching for to control my wild course hair.

all the reviews speak on old formulations, but recently tried joicos moisture recovery and it's the only conditioner that detangles my hair and smoothens down my strands

Love this conditioner super moisturizing, had to size up to the gallon.

The reformulation of these products was a horrible idea. I will never purchase any of these products again. I hope to they bring back the old versions. Nothing compared to the old product. I have always hated the fragrance but I dealt with it because the conditioners worked so well. Now they are totally garbage. You would have better luck using a drug story product.

I'm gutted, loved the old formula, had finally found a conditioner that made my hair feel amazing. Have just purchased the new packaging and it makes my hair feel like straw. Time to try a different brand and find a new product.

1 Star is too high a ranking for this “new formula!” I’m scouring the internet monthly and buying the old formula where ever I can find it! JOICO made a huge mistake by re-formulating! My hair was so soft and my slightly wavy hair would naturally curl at the end... NOT with this crap! Frizzy tangles and my hair feels like straw! Bring back the old formula and call it “classic!!” PLEASE!!!

Luckily I stocked up on the old formula. This conditioner used to be hands down the most detangling and moisturizing conditioner on the market...changing perfection just boggles the mind. I understand incorporating new technology/innovation into products but why fundamentally change such an amazing formula?!?! I've completely sworn off joico products, but I'd return in a heartbeat if they ever return to the original formula

Horrendous what have you done to this once amazing product, change the formula back immediately!

You don't know how many years I searched for the perfect conditioner & now to see that you've changed the formula is really making me nervous. I'm down to the last of my supply. This just keeps happening everytime I find a product line with a formula that works, they discontinue what I'm using or change it. The odd thing is it's always the products that seem to be in high demand. If I could use clippers as well as every other hairstyling tool I think I'd just shave it off at this point.

Please explain the formula change and can you change it back?!!?

I am so disappointed! This was my daily user for conditioner for years, and you ruined it. Now I have a bottle of the new stuff that I won't be able to use. The new dries out my hair and the static is unbelievable! I'm so sad.

Before the formula changed for this product I had been using this conditioner for years! and my mum had used for the past 20 years an amazing product, but now not fit for purpose horrendous doesn't do half the job the previous formula did and will now no longer purchase this conditioner! Really disappointed :-((((

This is a horrible replacement for the previous moisture recovery conditioner. My hair doesn’t feel soft and conditioned anymore rather tangled and course!!! I’ve used Joico for years.. and now I have to find something else including shampoo ?

I can't believe you screwed with the formula. I'll be looking to a different brand for a new conditioner.

I have used your moisture recovery products for several years and loved it. The newer formula has some different ingredients which have irritated my skin and make me itch all day. I stopped using your product a few days and the itch went away. I love what it does for my hair, but hate what it does to my skin!

The new formula leaves my hair looking greasy. I only put it on the ends and when I dry my hair it actually looks like I’ve got too much product on!!! Please bring back the old formula it was amazing

I don't usually do reviews but I felt compelled to do this one. I loved your old formula. I'm a guy who does Santa so I have to get my hair bleached and your old product was great. Your new formula is awful! If I could give it less than a one I would. I am returning it to the place where I purchased it and feel bad for doing so, it's not their fault your product is not the same. Change it back or lose a customer.

this new formula is terrible for people who have normal to dry hair. it put my hair into knots the minute I put it on my hair. I run my fingers thru my hair while in the shower - it was like pulling my hair out - very painful. lost me as a customer

I've been using this for years on my dry coarse hair, it left it so soft and helped define my curls. This new formula is horrible & I couldn't even get my fingers through it let alone my shower comb. . I've had to deep condition and it's still so dry in spots. It feels like I bleached it. And after my hair dries it's very frizzy with no curls or even waves. My hair is stiff and crunchy even when wet. Now I'll have to find a new conditioner.
