Jool Baby Lock ‘n Step Folding Step Stool - Gray

This product is dangerous. I bought this last week and it worked fine. Today my preschooler stood on it and it folded up on him. I thought maybe it didn’t lock in place. It just happened again and product was “locked in”. I can now just put a little weigh on it and it instantly folds. My son now has a laceration and a bruise thanks to this product.

Not safe. The locking mechanism sheered off with the weight of a petite toddler causing her to fall onto tile. Only a few uses in with only a toddler using it as intended caused it to fail. Will now collapse if weight is placed near edge.

NOT SAFE. The lock in place safety mechanism broke when my 3 year old was standing on it and he fell off. It’s only a few months old.

I liked the design of this stool with the rounded corners and ability to fold it. However, after using it for less than 3 months, the plastic tabs that prevent the stool from folding when in use broke off. Now my child has falls when stepping on the stool unless she distributes her weight just right. I will be getting rid of it before she gets seriously hurt.

I didn't even get to try this as a stool because it broke immediately upon setting up. I followed the instructions and just tried to set up the step stool but noticed it was very wobbly and wouldn't stay latched so it just kept folding back up. When I looked closer I saw that the very flimsy plastic notches that are supposed to secure the latch were broke and barely hanging on. I can't imagine this supporting 200 pounds like it claims. This is not safe and I'll look for a better option for my toddler.
