Q: Is the top set of screws supposed to stay fairly loose (for folding)? Won't that pinch little fingers?

A: Hi! The top screws stay somewhat loose to allow the seat to fold and unfold. Once your child is sitting on the seat, they should remain in place. For extra caution, try to keep your child's fingers away from that area. Thanks

Easy to clean, assemble, and use. My toddler could care less about toilet training, she said it was stressful when we’d keep asking if she wanted to try to use the potty… but one day my husband saw this on the store shelves and grabbed it. I felt discouraged, but that was the day everything changed. It got my child excited to potty train and it was our answer. Now my younger toddler is very excited to try this. My older daughter is now four and can unfold this and set it on the toilet unassisted, it is that simple to use.

Not for us, very wobbly.
Our 1.5-year-old has been using the toilet since she was 6 months old, and now that she’s walking everywhere, we wanted this to help her gain a little independence. The idea is great, but the design just isn’t sturdy. Since it’s all plastic, the screws can’t be tightened enough to keep it steady. Even though she’s not heavy, it wobbled the whole time she tried to use it. She ended up more worried about slipping or falling than anything else. We returned it.

It’s working!!
Daughter sometimes feels uncomfortable but she has gone multiple times on this, whereas she refused to go on the foldable toilet seat suction cup that you put onto your current toilet seat.

Never even used and it broke
Just bought this and it broke putting it together. The end of one of the legs and then a handle also broke. It was still useable but it just didn’t sit well on the toilet even after adjusting the height. Over all the product just seems and feels cheap.
