Description
Take a journey with us and discover unique wines from around the world! At Journey & Discovery Wines, we work each day with one purpose in mind, to make quality European wines financially accessible to the American consumer. Journey & Discovery Cabernet Sauvignon hails from the La Mancha region of Spain. La Mancha is dry and dusty with boiling hot summers, and its name comes from the word “Manxa” which means “parched earth.” This extreme environment may not sound pleasant, but it’s perfect for growing Cabernet.

I’m convinced all these other reviews unfortunately received a bad batch. This wine is great for only being $4! Granted, it is a smaller bottle but it doesn’t taste bad (and was NOT chunky??) maybe just a little watery in my opinion - but don’t let that deter you; it’s perfect for a self care night, this bottle, a face mask and a bubble bath was heaven. I did take points off because the description is inaccurate, it’s 12% not 13% as was listed. Not a big deal for me, but thought it was important to note.
Thick, chunky texture

This is so bad. I never write reviews, but there’s chunks in the wine? And it has a very filmy and thick texture. Don’t do it!

The worst! I tried the white wine and it was terrific. People aren’t kidding about the chunks and truly the worst I have ever had! Disgusting!!

Wish I would have read the reviews before hand, this was AWFUL. To be expected for the price but I’ve had $2 wine from Traders Joes that was good. I didn’t want to spend a lot to drink just one glass so I bought this and regret it.

This wine had a nasty film inside the bottle and the taste was awful. Really disappointing.

I really hoped the other reviews were wrong when I bought my bottle. Sadly, they were right. I've only had one other Cabernet Sauvignon that I could not drink. I could drink this one at least, but I will not buy it again.
I've never had a chunky wine before

As a big fan of cheap red wine, I was excited to see this new split bottle at Target. Not going to lie, it didn't taste super good but I've had worse. Not great but drinkable until I take a big sip only to feel something solid mixed in with the wine. Spit it out and poured the glass down the sink, only to see weird gross chunks all over the sink. Even for a cheap wine connoisseur, this was a new level of gross for me

Threw it out because it was disgusting. Smells and tastes like rubbing alcohol.

I love Reds but this was awful. I took 3 sips and dumped the rest, probably the worst wine I’ve ever had.

Honestly, I had to dump it out. It was awful. It wasn’t enjoyable, tastes like spoiled grape juice. I’m a fairly regular red wine drinker and I drink all price points, but this was simply no good.
Terrible, it was spoiled when I opened it

It was spoiled, I could smell it when I uncorked the bottle. It tasted terrible. I wouldn't buy again or anything else from this brand again.

Love the size for a two-person household that doesn’t drink frequently. I like the taste - many miniature things suffer in quality, but not this brand!
Dont even try.

Very small bottle, not full size. Awful dryness. I couldn’t even take more than 2 sips. And I love dry red wines so for me not to be able to finish a glass means it was really bad.
