Alan Rosen is the celebrated third-generation co-owner of Junior's Restaurants and Bakery, the iconic New York institution famous worldwide for its "World's Most Fabulous Cheesecake."
Alan grew up in the business, spending summers working at the original Brooklyn location founded by his grandfather, Harry Rosen, in 1950. After graduating from Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration, he returned to the family business in 1993 with a vision for modernization and expansion. Under his leadership, Junior's has evolved from a beloved Brooklyn eatery into a national brand, expanding its retail locations to Times Square and other major hubs, professionalizing its mail-order business, and overseeing the production of millions of cheesecakes annually from a dedicated state-of-the-art bakery.
As the public face of the company, Alan Rosen regularly shares the Junior's story and product secrets with a national audience, frequently appearing on television networks like QVC, ABC's Good Morning America, and NBC's Today. He is the co-author of the best-selling Junior's Cheesecake Cookbook and other popular comfort food and dessert books, through which he shares the unchanged, seventy-year-old cheesecake recipe and invaluable family tips for achieving baking perfection at home.
