I like the design of the mat in that it doesn’t trap debris like a traditional doormat. Only downside is that it has a weird smell. But it’s outside, so I don’t really care. But I’ve had it a couple of weeks and the smell is still there.

This is exactly what I had in mind for my front door, and I intend to keep it, BUT it has a very strange odor. I had it inside on my tile kitchen floor for 24 hours and noticed a burning smell, like a campfire, when I walked into the room the next day. I had noticed the same smell on the box when it first arrived so I had removed the box to the garage immediately. I am just hoping the smell will go away after being outside for a month or so. I would recommend this door mat but with some hesitation.
