Q: I asked a few days ago and never got a response back every time I set the clock on this microwave it always goes back to military time I set it like the instructions tell me to do.

submitted bySte - 11 months agoA: Thank you for your question. To switch between settings on the clock Press the Timer/Clock button and hold for 3 seconds to select the 12-hour clock option. Press again to select the 24-hour clock option. To change the time, press the number pad and enter the current clock time. For example, if the time is 8:30, press "8,3,0" in order. Press the Timer/Clock pad again to confirm.

A: Before you set the time, press clock for 3 seconds. After you set the time, press the clock button again.

A: From the picture I have a guess: tap the button labeled "Clock/timer: clock hold for 3 seconds" then tap the numbers for how many seconds, then tap "Start" (Start only adds 30sec when already running)

We bought this for my daughters dorm. As soon as we plug it in it turns on and won't stop until we open the door. Then when you shut the door it will be off for a bit then turns on its own. Does not heat at all. We had to go out and get her another one. Very disappointed in this purchase

I needed a new mic since mine caught on fire, and I found this one for under $50! I had low expectations but this Kenmore surprised me. It doesn't slide all over the counter when I open the door, like my old one. It heats very well, a cup of water will boil in under 2 minutes. The only issue is Noone can seem to figure out how to program the time, it keeps reverting to military time every time I think I've got it. Oh well, it still functions beyond my expectations, I'll keep it 😀

I bought this microwave because it was light and cheap. There is no way to set cooking time in seconds. There are only presets, express cook for 1-6 minutes (whole numbers only), and a +30-second function combined with the start button. The cooking noise is loud, and the sounds of the door opening and closing are also loud.

Do not buy. Starts with door open, says its cooking but not, cooks without a timer. Anything it's not supposed to do, it does. Worst purchase ever and I waited too long to learn this so now I can't even return it. Buyer beware. Target should not sell this product and Kenmore should be ashamed of themselves. This is expensive trash

Run don't walk away from this one. Over a day I was trying to set the clock and it kept going back to military time and 1:54 pm. This is the worst microwave I have ever bought. A basic dinner plate hardly fits in it. You would have to warm up your food in a coffee mug. Returned it. If I could write a review with "0" stars I would.
