Q: Are these color on both sides or white on the side that faces to the window?
A: The back side has a satin like feel, and is dark gray in color.

Q: Is the length or width first in the size?
A: The sizes are completely backwards to the ad. I wanted 54 " long, and 40 " long. That would be 63 X 54 and 63 x 40, They are really 63 inches long so I will have to shorten them. The size on the package states 54 x 63, and 40 x 63 - as they are. '
