I implemented this puzzle in my center groups and my kids absolutely LOVED it! They loved being able to review what we've learned in class through puzzle learning. Conversations are being made which makes my teacher happy because it truly is enhancing fluency! My class just finished our color week unit so being able to utilize the color puzzles in this kit was a great review. Highly recommend!

I neglected to add in my previous review that I sort the morning center puzzles in three separate baskets to aid and eliminate frustration for first grade special learners. Their sense of accomplishment and obvious enjoyment of completing a task independently is a great way to start the school day! This set is definitely a plus for Pre-K or First Grade classrooms! The Carson Dellosa BIG BOX does it again! My students love our extensive collection of Carson Dellosa learning puzzles and will even ask to "play" with them during rainy recess days!!! I value this puzzle for its ability to foster learning in a brief span of time. Our room is buzzing during morning arrival with students chatting and collaborating in stations. My special learners have quality time with upper/ lowercase letters, numbers, colors, and shapes, and their peers and I can quickly review each skill with them within a matter of moments! An excellence opportunity to foster language, leadership, kindness, and certainly learning! The number range, 0-25 versus 1-20, is excellent as well! This box is bright and fun. I'd say this box is best fit for preschool and kindergarten students. I used it in my first grade classroom with my English Learners. They loved it. The puzzles are great for practicing beginning skills. They are fun to do with your class as a small group and perfect for centers for extra practice. The students love matching the letters and beginning sound pictures on the back. There are many ways they can be used in the classroom or at home! As a Kindergarten Teacher looking for center ideas and morning choice bins, this was a great addition to our classroom! My students love puzzles and I'm always on the hunt for letter and number puzzles especially. You can't really tell from the front of the box, but it includes some shapes as well! The shapes puzzles includes both 2-D & 3-D shapes to real life objects, which is also nice. Overall, great for the price since it includes so much! I was a bit worried when I first received this item. I thought it was going to be too young for my first graders. However, upon opening it and looking at all of the pieces, I decided to use this as part of our indoor recess activities since we live in AZ and it is always too hot for recess at the beginning of the year! The kids had a lot of fun putting the pieces together and matching the numbers and the alphabet. It is a little bit too young for the kiddos in regards to the colors, and shapes. But the alphabet and numbers aspect is just right for beginning-of-the-year first graders. :) I participate in the Review Team Program for Carson Dellosa and have received this product for free to review.

I love this box of puzzles for my kindergarten classroom! We do a lot of puzzles for fun Friday centers and these are perfect because they target three different skills! The alphabet and number puzzles are great for literacy or math centers in the classroom. The pieces are easy to hold and manipulate for little hands to build fine motor skills.
