Kichler Lighting 5 - Light Pendant in Brushed Nickel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Kichler Transitional 30" 5 Light Pendant in Brushed Nickel is even more beautiful in person than in pictures! It is the very definition of a statement piece, and the first thing that catches your eye when walking into my dining room. It is large with clean lines and a sleek design that is contemporary, but still soft and homey due to the flawless interplay between fabric and steel. Installation was uncomplicated; my partner and I were able to complete without issue. I do recommend having two people as the shape and sheer size is awkward to complete solo. I do wish the outline of the 5 light bulbs weren’t so obvious looking up, but that’s a minor complaint. There’s also some limitation on the hanging length as the rods provided are at set length and cannot be cut. (It does include 4 stems, so you can mix and match though). Overall, I am quite satisfied with this piece and would gladly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very delighted in how this looks in our house. It's just like what it looks like in the picture, but of course, your house will vary. For us, we installed this above our dinner table and the light is broadcasted onto our table, and into our room, very nicely. It's a somewhat minimalist type of design, so keep that in mind when purchashing. Also, it has multiple lamp sockets if you wanted more light in the room. Installation was a little bit long, but straightforward. The only bad thing about it was the neck cramp from looking up at it for so long.

It adds the right amount of light and more of a home feel to my new home. It is everything I expected and then some. Beautiful and easy to follow instructions. We had this light up and running in no time . I highly recommend this pendant light.

It can be done with one person but I recommend getting an extra set of hands when installing the diffuser since it is quite heavy. It took us about 30 minutes to install. It looks too large for our space when I first opened the box but once installed; it was the perfect size. They give you plenty of rods to adjust to your liking; we chose to use one short rod - semi-flushed to the ceiling since we installed it in our living room on top of the couch. Also, the wires provided were more than enough plus there is an extra set of wires. It diffuses light really well. I placed smart bulbs which I can control the brightness and control and I think it works really well with the shade. It was also easy to change the bulbs; I had to change one bulb after installation and I had access to the bulbs from the top. I have enough clearance to fit my hands even if we only used one rod. The instructions were easy to follow for us but I wish it was clearer. Note that the bottom glass diffuser is not to be held by the frame; it is only attached to it by the center screw. The brackets on the frame are to be used to make sure the glass is leveled. It was also not specified on the instruction which side goes inside; we opted to place the frosted side of the diffuser facing out. I might reverse is soon since it is easier to clean the smooth part. Overall, it is a great light fixture that is very versatile when it comes to length; from semi-flushed to mid to a pendant light. It will go well with traditional to modern style.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I fell in love with the look of this Transitional Light Pendant in brushed nickel. I went back and forth on whether to put it in my dining room or my bedroom. The bedroom won. It was packaged very well. The instructions were very easy to understand. It did take two of us as it’s rather heavy. We installed it within 45 minutes. It’s gorgeous! I am very pleased with it. Now I want a similar one for my dining room!
