We have ceiling lights which provide most of the light. Though a few of my office friends have noticed extra light because of this fixture, I have not. I can't help but wonder how much light this fixture would shed on the bathroom if we didn't have the ceiling lights to depend on. It really is a beautiful fixture though!

This is a nice light. I bought the bulbs with a yellow tint so they would stand out more. If this is your main bathroom light, I would not recommend that as they aren't very bright.
