We found that using a clear antique/heritage light bulb was the best look for our place and matched the fixture the best. But each can use their own personal taste to decide on which light bulbs is best for them. The clear glass makes the lightbulb you choose important when completing the overall look. The light bulbs we used were available at many places, so not hard to find. I have my interior design diploma and thought this fixture was a great bedside wall sconce. My husband was not sure the first day but once we had the right light bulbs in, he loves the look. This fixture could match a modern look or work with our traditional look with clean lines.
