Love everything about this little vacuum but the small size of the dust canister and the fact that it’s top heavy, it won’t stand without folding it over first. Works great, just have to empty the canister a lot for a full size room.

My husband bought this vacuum in the beginning of December 2022 and about 2 weeks ago something happened when vacuuming, the normal vacuum of tile floors and low grade carpets. It won't shut off without disconnecting the handheld and making a loud noise. So we used it approximately 8 weeks and called to get service/warranty and nothing was covered. SERIOUSLY!! We ended up buying a new head. Now when its in use its not as powerful and I don't think its working as well. This is not the first one we have purchased and because it picks up the pet hair so well, it is the reason for the second purchase. So much for a warranty! So disappointed.....

This is the worst vacuum I have ever owned. Dust gets stopped up in the bottom of the vacuum not to mention the part that goes directly into the dust catcher. It will not vacuum up cat litter. I own a shark hand vac that works much better and is stronger than this large one. I would never owned one again and would not suggest for anyone else that I want if they want the floor to be clean.

Disappointed the battery wasn't removable. This is my 5th shark vacuum and my first disappointment of the product.

It is impossible to clean the area around the brush in this thing. You can pop the front brush out super easy. The other one can’t be replaced apparently. What’s more annoying is watching videos of older models where the cover pops off with the push of a button. Don’t ever run over anything with moisture. I have a permanent poop streak in the housing now. Not buying anything else Shark ever again.

I bought this last month. The design allows great versatility and is lightweight. Cleans well. The charge lasts for over and hour. The elbow joint on the stick arm allows you to get under furniture easily and is a great innovation. If the vacuum holds up over time I will be very pleased with Shark!

The Vertex works great as a standup vac. I suggest one attachment is a motorized to pick up hair on a couch. The attachments that are included are not sufficient to address that.

I bought this as a gift to myself. I'd been SO tired of lugging a canister vac around, searching for outlets in the various rentals I've had. THIS IS A DREAM!!!!! It's powerful, not overly loud and extremely simple to use for both big and small jobs.

this is the 4th shark product I have purchased, and this one is perfect! It's easily charged, doesn't take up much room, awesome on hardwoods. The "bendable" function is definitely a plus with furniture :) Better bang for the buck than some of the other higher end vacs I have had in the past, easy to trouble shoot, and havent the need to replace parts frequently. I'll continue to purchase only shark products, soooo worth the cost.

Unhappy with the fabric roller. I think it will be hard to keep clean as it will collect stains and everything else when vacuuming. Also when vacuuming my high grade carpet the dust canister gets all covered with a linty film. I just had carpet professional clean a little over six months ago.

I bought this vacuum a few weeks ago and I am in love. I had been using a Dyson for about 3 years and I have told everyone that this shark puts my Dyson to shame. I love the light it has on it and the large bin to hold the dirt. The floor feels so cleaned after I vacuum compared to a vacuum with the Dyson.

When I decided to buy a battery operated vacuum for daily jobs, I did a ton of research and this Shark kept rising to the top. It does the trick on dog hair over carpet, area rugs, tile, and hardwood. It’s super-easy to switch between carpet and hard surfaces. I do a quick 10-15 minutes and the power holds up. My husband uses it for our cars and he loves all the available attachments. I like the options for upholstery and for reaching under tables & beds. We use a more traditional Shark for weekly cleaning and this as a supplement. But, for a small apartment or house, I think this would suffice. So glad we went with this product.

I love my Shark Vertex it has lots of suction power. My 4 dogs make lil messes with their crunchy treats and this cleans them right up. It is lite and easy to maneuver for this 100 lb senior citizen. Thanks Shark and financing was easy too.
