Great buy
I bought this for my hubby and he first loved the smell, not too strong, then liked how clean his face was after using it to wash his oily kind of face skin. It won’t dry out your face after using it. It makes the face fresh.

Cheap and Nasty
Have used this face wash for fifteen years. The new version is like using dish soap on your skin. Smells awful, leaves your face dry and tight. Noticed it on the very first use. The price they are now charging for this is outrageous. Will never buy again.

This product helped my dry skin problem.
It feels really good when I wash my face with it. I use a face scrubber. It feels good going on my face. It also had a very good scent to it. 😁😁😁😁 It lathers up very well & I like that very well. 😁😁😁😁.

Very disappointed
Long time Kiehl’s customer but very disappointed with the new scent and feel of this face wash. The old formula was so much better. Won’t buy this again unless Kiehl’s comes out and admits their fault and reverts back.

Horrible new watered down soap
I thought I was the only one until I saw the reviews! This face wash used to be great but now it is clearly watered down and doesn’t lather as well. I bought the largest size during the Black Friday sale last year and immediately noticed the difference. Now a year later I refuse to buy this new watered down disappointment. You’ve lost a customer.

Very Disappointed
I am really disappointed, Kiehl's. Like others have said, this was once a great product. I've been using it for years. I did not know you had changed the formula until I started using a new bottle. It has been watered down, which means I have to use twice as much, and it does not cleanse as well as it used to. I won't be buying this again.

Another product destroyed
First they messed up aftershave. Then they decided to ruin face wash. Like many others, I've been using this product for I don't remember how many years. It has been great until some "genius" decided to change the formula and save few bucks. The new product smells bad, produces no lather and at least twice thinner than the old version, making you go through the bottle much quicker. Enough is enough. Good bye, Kiehl's. It’s been great run Kiehl’s. You were my first “adult skin care” brand. I’ve religiously used this cleanser since 2010 and now it’s trash. I can’t believe they didn’t think we would notice it. I wish companies would listen to their core customer base. On the hunt for a replacement. Thanks for a great 15 years!

THEY CHANGED IT! I have been using this face wash for forever. After finally working my way through a large bottle, I received a new one. This morning in the shower there was a noticeable difference. No lather. It smelled different. It didn’t feel right. Bring back the old formulae or I will need to find a new favorite wash from another company. This new formula is awful!!!!

New Formula is Terrible
I’ve been using Facial Fuel daily for over 15 years and thought I got a bad batch with the last bottle purchased while in vacation. Tossed it as soon as I got home. Just transitioned to new bottle at home and same disappointment - runny, horrid chemical smell. Now looking for an alternative.

Disappointing New Formula
Though the website still shows this as “Energizing Face Wash”, I received a product labeled “Invigorating Face Wash” instead. Having used the original product for almost 20 years, I am very disappointed by the new product. It is basically a thinner, watered-down version of the original. The pleasing scent is also gone. I’m a little confused as to why they haven’t updated the product listing. It still lists as “Energizing Face Wash” and even has pictures of the original bottle - you don’t learn of the product change until you receive the delivery.

Travel size always leaking...wasting money
Great facial soap, however, the 2.5 travel size leaks. I have purchased 2 of these in the past year and both of them have leaked into my toiletry bag or ziplock bag. This doesn't just happen for air travel, but by car as well. The product is being wasted and thus money is being wasted.

Not the same, and it’s time to part ways with you
You lost another customer. The new formula smells different, works different, and is so far from The original that I can no longer trust kiehls (loreal). I’ve been a customer for close to 20 years.

New formula ruined a great product, please go back
Add me to the chorus of negative reviews of the new formula. I actually thought I had a bad batch and reordered a second bottle. I’ve been using this product for a decade, but this is not the same product anymore. I can’t get past the chemical smell of it, and it caused my forehead to break out. Will not be buying this again unless they ditch this and go back to the old formula. Baffling that this made it to the market smelling like this.
