Food purchase out of date

Because I was not able to shop in the store I purchased these buns online and picked them up at the drive-thru. the "best by" date on the package was 4 days prior to when I received them. These are for a party tomorrow so I am going to return them and hopefully they have some fresh ones! Apparently they don't sell enough of these to keep a fresh supply in the store! Very disappointed in Target. P.S. I realize they are not rotten or moldy but I pay the price for fresh!

While it was convenient having them pre-cut, these weren't as good as the original style. They had less flavor and were denser. No one wanted to eat the remainders. My family actually ate no buns after their first batch.
